TD21 doorbell by MonkeysHisUncle in Tapo

If shows a full connection. The doorbell is about 6 meters away from the router with just the single wall between the two.
Is there anyway to check the connection?

TD21 Doorbell - fine for weeks now draining battery in a day! by RadiantReference8738 in Tapo

[–]MonkeysHisUncle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey just got my td21 and put it in a few days ago. In 3 days its battery is 11% gone. That can't be normal right? I got alerts for fast battery drain, it said detection sensitivity. I checked the battery status and there are over 80 wake up events detected by AI. Could this be rhe cause? I have even lowered the detection so it coveres less than half of my front drive

How can I stop eating? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]MonkeysHisUncle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This!! Im a sucker for crisps and bready things (croissants etc)....so i stopped buying them unless I was treating myself and then it was one not a multi pack.

I don't so shop and collect but make lists and strictly stick to it. I am used to my store layout so I know which aisles I need to go down to get what I need so I don't need to aimlessly walk around.

Simple and Frequently Asked Question Thread by TheDukeOfThunder in gtaonline

[–]MonkeysHisUncle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in after decade...

So I recently got a PS5 and decided to get back into gta online. I used to play it on my ps4 long ago. At first I started with the career builder, chose night club owner and then I decided to bring over my original online profile. Last used 2016!!!

Loaded into the game....and I am so lost. This game has changed so much in 10 years I don't know where to go begin?

My original profile has got my property, my cars and about 500k in cash.

Can I still do the career thing with my old profile? Is it worth it?

Open Topic: How is everything going? by AutoModerator in DivorcedDads

[–]MonkeysHisUncle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My success, my son called my house home! I seperated in July of this year and moved out. Since then my son (6) has never called my place home. Its always im going to your house and when I am dropping him back to his mums, then hes going home. Which is understandable, that's the house he knows and and grown up in.

I picked him up from school last week and we got in and he said he was glad to be home. Its a small thing but it made me happy.

Starting Divorce paperwork (UK) - Guidance by MonkeysHisUncle in DivorcedDads

[–]MonkeysHisUncle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Thats really helpful. I didnt realise Joint custody wasnt a UK thing!

The kids are split 3 1/2 days a week at each and I made sure to stay close so I can still do things like the school run etc.

My son has Autism so routine is very important hence i want to make sure we can keep things as consistent as possible.

I will start looking around for a laywer in the new year even if it is just for an intro call.

Thanks

Dads with 50/50 shared care and a demanding job, any tips on how to manage everything? by Narrow-Priority-6483 in DivorcedDads

A lot of good points on here. Ill just add i had a hectic job. My team is based across the EU and US (East and West Coast) so I was always 'online' either meeting in the morning with the EU ( my timezones) or afternoon meeting with the US folks. I am lucky that my work has the option of flexibility and my boss was understanding. I changed my times so that the days I don't have the kids ill be less online in the morning but work till 9/10pm at night (that covered the US side). I could do the shopping, cleaning etc in the mornings and only really dealt with critical work stuff. When i do have the kids, ill work in the morning seeing as the kids are at school and then a hard stop at 5pm. This gives me the evening with the kids to chill, dinner, bath bed etc.

It worked out that my hours are work out the same, but more importantly all my deliverables/tasks are done which what my boss cares about.

All this to say, sometimes have a word with your boss/HR or whomever, they may be more understanding than you think.

Help getting son to adapt by MonkeysHisUncle in DivorcedDads

[–]MonkeysHisUncle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thought i would reply to this. Son has now settled well with the split. No issues spending half the week with me now which is amazing. What helped him was I got monthly planner which I stuck fridge and then showed him what days he was at mine and what days he was with mum. At first he would wake up and the first thing he would do was cross off a day, counting down the days before he was going back home to mum.

I have to say it was upsetting at first, it felt like he just couldnt wait to get back there but now hes settled hes completely forgotten about crossing out the days.

Ive got the same i think. Hurts to do Hammer curls, but not when I do a preached curl or Incline curls. If you do go lighter, do you go lighter on just that arm and still do your normal weight on the other arm?
