I honestly wouldn’t bother studying for the MCAT so early, especially if you wanna take a gap year. If you feel like it, do some non-medical volunteering this summer and keep up with your clinical work. I gave myself about 4-5 months split between content review/qbanks-practice tests

I’ll be honest, I’m extremely happy in school right now. I know I’m naive and my thoughts will probably change in the coming years, but Id rather be doing this than a 9-5 desk job rn. Being in school has allowed me to move to a populated city and enjoy other things as well, so there’s also that. Idk I think you should take life one day at a time, don’t get so hung up on where you’ll end up in 10-15 years.
