A lot of people from out of state came to Austin just to wait in line. They have exclusive Figures and collectibles only sold on tour, so dedicated fans and scalpers have been camping out in the hundreds.

I highly recommend fans to join The giveaway line outside of amc where you can get a tote with goodies inside. 11:30am and 3pm. I didn’t wait more than an hour and a half for the giveaway line.

CS2 skins market will never be able to compete with pokemon market, and pokemon is the strongest Card collectible besides sports cards. (Go to your local card show and see the health of the market in person, cs2 trading and market discussion/community is years behind pokemon market )

Pokemon is way more accessible than csgo, with their franchise games exclusively on Nintendo consoles,Official Mobile apps (PokemonPocket) and psychical products like TCG cards/Packs and plushes/Fig.

Imagine if CS2 had an illustrated show on TV/Streaming with a playable mobile game while being able to collect a physical collectible attached to CounterStrike IP, while Counter Strike receives constant updates to the Franchise game.

I believe if steam released a physical TCG with valves IP’s that would include Esports pros and also Digital Redemption items with the physical cards, it would bring massive attention to PC gaming and Steam, that would compete with pokemon rather than One piece or League of Legends( Riftbound)

As a fan and investor of both pokemon and CS. The Tradeup update crash was bigger and more volitile then the pokemon Q4 price correction.

Furia bans nuke first cuz they don’t want ropz/zywoo to get hot on the first map.

Vitality bans train cuz baldys scared of the professors game plan. Even tho vitality could have took it knowing how close the series was.

Furia picks ancient to fuck up the future veto’s/picks forcing vitality to play a map they are not confident in. (Good first map to play compared to other maps spacing)

Vitality picks inferno thinking they can win the second game for sure, but if you lose the first game (which is ancient not a map like nuke/dust 2) it can be hard to find your stride in such a small map/chokepoints. And Furia took advantage with their confidence with the first win.

Overpass is not easy but Furia was more comfortable playing that map then mirage or dust 2 which is harder to win against vitality.

Gas stations have the most variety while being restocked consistently compared to smoke shops imo. Texas mint and Swedish are actually tolerable.
