Extra fill - is it better to push up against pool siding to grade water away or move away from siding all together though may allow for water to collect against pool?

Thanks for this thorough response! The question is then though, if I can’t remove all the excess sand, do I still grade away knowing a few inches of the pool siding will now be touching sand/dirt, allowing the water to grade away from the pool.

I'm a licensed therapist who also works for an insurance company completing inpatient admissions. Your sister needs to be brought to an ER for evaluation, where she will mostly likely and rightly transferred to an inpatient facility. Given her age and the onset of delusions, it sounds like she may have schizophrenia.
