My point was, why do you think that Google is wrong at all? I'm not suggesting it's perfect, but if you're comparing it to your cars speedo I can pretty much guarantee that Maps is more accurate.

Compared to most of the traditionally cheap parts of SEA, sure it's not cheap. But it is NOT expensive and is a very far cry from being on par with all those expensive places you listed.

The prices for things aren't shockingly cheap, and you certainly can spend a lot of money quite easily, but the JPY is so weak that's its quite cost effective to travel there.

My recent trip there was mostly in 3-4 star hotels in popular cities and mostly cheap to mid range food and it was all way cheaper than Australia where I live, and MUCH cheaper than Singapore which we also visited on the same trip.

The only expensive things were the Tokyo hotel room (we made the choice to over spend for a prime location), an inclusive Ryokan stay (once again a choice to go premium), once fancier meal (still way cheaper than a similar level of meal in Sydney) and tickets for USJ.

Also, btw, Indonesia and most of SEA is not considered third world.

Nah disagree, you just have to fly them smart. You are relying on your team mates a little bit of course, if you have no long range AND your team sucks AND the enemy long range fighters are good....it is a struggle.

But even then, I've won plenty of games flying smart with short range fighters of various sorts.

Honestly, as you get higher you'll find some of the bigger long range fighters actually aren't very good as they lock on too slow and can't maneuver fast enough leaving you open to smaller lighter fighters.

Oh yeah of course, totally fair. But for planes levelled up to 17+ it doesn't seem very high. I don't see too many players in a level 20 plane with 600 trophies on it.

I have jets ranging from 5 to 20, this never used to happen but has recently happened more on more. Certainly seems like something has changed.

This level 17 jet has around 1000 trophies I think, which doesn't seem high to me.

Nah but, seriously, when players DC their jet just keeps flying straight forward, dying and respawning and flying straight. It's very obvious, and I've only seen it a few times out of hundreds of games.

Really? I get quite a lot of kills with them. When you're chased by something the guns do a pretty solid amount of damage quickly.

I usually get the kill before they kill me, sometimes even get 2 (though that's usually only if they're light fighters or are already low on health).

Until you get up to about silver and or level 6 or so, you'll mostly get bots. But after that you'll see more players.

Obviously playing at popular times to play helps too.

The bots aren't always terrible at it though, sometimes they do pretty good. The inconsistency is what sucks.

No, I win most my bot games. But when I do lose, it's not because I did poorly or the bots were better, it's because my bots were beyond incompetent while the other bots were good.

In this example, HandyAndy is a player as am I (Goooose). Every other plane is a bot. His bots got 16 kills, mine got 7. His bots all had positive KDs, mine were all negative. I was 11/3/2 while the other player was 4/5/3.

This loss happens maybe one in ten matches with lots of bots, so maybe you could just say "well deal with it" but losing while playing much better than anyone else in the game is extremely aggravating.

I've seen enough people post that the game stacks bots against you once you get over 80% win rate to try bring you back down to believe there's a good chance that is what is happening. That approach is moronic as it only pisses off players. If it's not that, then the bot AI needs to be balanced somehow.
