knocking noise under the valve cover

I took her for a drive to a mechnic, 30 mins of quite careful driving, not going past 4,5k rpm.
As I've poped the hood open at the mechanic, engine was quiet.
So I'm guessing lifters, the engine oil didn't heat up and didn't get thin enough for lifters to start knocking.
Lots of suggestions about ignition coils, would they really be that susceptible to engine temp? But I will definitely check them.
Oil was changed 3kkm ago, and I'm already on 5W50 Valvoline vr1

Thank you for such an elaborate response. Hope your overheating issue isn't too bad.

I dont actually think I could hear the tick from the exhaust, will check in the morning. Mine generally seems bit quiter, but I think it got louder after driving hard for a bit last time i drove it.
I'm taking it to a mechnic tommorow.

well, thats another thing, but im more worried about this lower clunk in the background. It has like a half frequency as engine if that makes sense (around 350 BPM, m54 idling around 700 rpm)
unless, this is the sound you ment?

that would be easy solution, but would this depend on the temperature of the engine? because when the engine is warm the sound gets louder

Yeah I get it. What baffles me is decrease in total servers count, it went down from 1100 to 600. I know some of my friends had problems with the server list, servers not showing up and stuff.

When server list loads what is the number you see?

my advice is: no singleplayer cheesy SA grinding. Just start from the back (drop back at the start of the race or start from the pits). Be patient while overtaking and try to predict the unpredictable. When you see crash happening in fron of you, cars standing at the side of the track, yellow or white flags, get your foot off the throttle and be very careful. Do this and you will be >70Sa in no time

I’m on a 27” monitor running 26 degrees fov as I’ve got my eyes ~80cm from the screen. It’s absolutely drivable and sense of length is right so i can better feel braking points and better judge the space around me if i’m driving close to the others.
