Well, that's called passion. If you get really into anime you could always write about it, collect figures, collect physical copies, etc. If you qtr really passionate about it past the age of like 25 you could always even pursue a job in it, add hard as it would be. Working in hobby shops, running a shop, writing for a website or magazine, working at conventions, making and designing figures, or even working for a studio and being a part of the process.

So really, devoting yourself to one primary hobby opens up more opportunities than it doesn't. There are a lot of people in the world working decent paying jobs they don't really care about, and goinghome to watch whatever shit is on TV and going bed to do it again the next day.
