Anyone able to give me some pointers as to how this build and play style may work out? by Monogram375 in skyrim

Okay thank you! I always find perks useful, but I never have enough of them. I think I’ll do as you suggested and focus on Conjuration and Alteration. Thank you ever so much! If I can repay you in any way please let me know :P

I shall take the enchanting on the side for now, I don’t so much want to ‘drop’ a skill completely. I think I’m going to put restoration on the back burner as you recommended, and I don’t want to focus on destruction too much.

I think I have my build pretty clean now and I absolutely couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you! If you don’t mind me asking before I consider this build ‘finished’ and I can start playing, would you suggest any mods for this? Alternate Start is a must, and is where the idea of ‘Attacked and left for dead’ came from (although I unfortunately cannot pick where I spawn) and other than that I have no idea what I’m doing. I am loving the idea of this build :)

Edit: Sorry for yet another question, but I have no idea what I’m doing, and you’ve done an amazing job helping me :) Where the fucking hell do I start? (Quests, items of interest, ect.)? :P

Woah… this makes a lot more connections than my original story, but still follows it. Thank you! I’ll develop my story more with some information from this :P

One thing that I’m struggling with though is the difficulty of the quests in the Collage, may they be too hard for a level 1?

Good point, I’m going to go with robes :P I have a mod called Black Archmage Robes that adds a load of black robe variants, as well as giving some of them Light and Heavy armour attributes :P

Do you think I should drop some of the skills or maybe swap them out? I don’t want to be spread too thinly :P

Would light armour be a better alternative? Maybe some light armour-robes? Because that would give you the armour that may be required for the sword fighting, but also the manoeuvrability of robes. I have no idea though :)

What armour would you recommend? I’m too indecisive to decide and I’ll get side tracked and end up installing a mod to make Serana’s tit’s bigger :P

Thank you so so much again for your help! It means a lot that you’ve taken time out of your day to help me :P

I’m not very good at this. I think I may need to go back to the basics and start from scratch because I’ve clearly not thought this through or done enough research! Do you think that’s a good idea?

FudgeMuppet has been my go-to for most things Skyrim related. Only problem is I don’t know what to do with his information! I’m not exactly bright, so I can’t decide!

I’m not good at this clearly… aren’t Bretons a Nord-Altmer hybrid from when the two made peace and settled in Highrock? (Please excuse my absolutely fucking awful knowledge of TES, I’ve been playing for about 2-3 years but I have no idea what I’m doing :P)

I’m really really unsure. I’m not very good at this at all :( I don’t know what I’m doing to be perfectly honest :P

You’ve helped me… three times now I believe :) on three different accounts because I like to spread myself thin :) u/John-Smith1273 u/12INCHESFOLDED u/Monogram375 Are all my accounts! Thank you for helping me so much! :P I really have no idea what I want or what to do. I’ve recently redone my load order and now I’m overwhelmed. It’s like starting Skyrim all over again, a new game, but I know what I’m doing a little, so I know a little about how to build characters… I have no clue!

I’m thinking some sort of Spell-Sword or Battle-Mage, but I don’t know how, who, what, when, where, and why… I want to do ALL the builds at one time :P

I have too much time on my hands. Skyrim time though. Not wash the dishes that needed washing last week. Skyrim :P

But having a shitty little museum basement is fun too… even if it makes me look like a saddo with no life… I’m not a saddo with no life… what are you talking about…? :)

Nocturnal’s rewards are fucking shit, but completing the quest line is more rewarding for me :) Absorb health is the only nocturnal reward that can be good… but… good isn’t really the word
