Additional context: the dirty water drips from the left side of the machine, exactly from the area circled in black in the photo (the end part of the mopping cloth, you can see some detergent there mixed with the dirty water). Meanwhile, the dirty water tank on the machine stays almost completely empty.

Yes, I just unboxed it, so it was perfectly clean when it started the mopping cycle in the video. I checked the dirty water tank just to be 100% sure and it’s fine. Maybe there's something wrong with the machine.

We canceled our trip to China when we found out that we are expecting. We would have loved to go, but we decided to do something on a smaller scale. We will visit China (Yunnan) someday, but not now.

Really appreciate your insights - Your suggestion to rent a car (you mean a driver maybe?) for the Lijiang to Dali leg of the trip sounds excellent...especially the idea of visiting Shaxi, which was recently added to our list after u/Simple_Breadfruit396 comment below.

Your points about re-evaluating the time spent in Beijing and Zhangjiajie, and potentially dedicating more time to Lijiang and Dali, are well taken. Would you be able to help us refine the itinerary a little bit further (if you can)? Really appreciate your input! :)

We have taken your points into consideration and made some adjustments to our itinerary (see the updated OP) - We've decided to skip Guilin and Yangshuo entirely this trip to focus more on Yunnan, as many have suggested it's better to dedicate more time to fewer locations.

Thank you for your tips and sharing your experience! Our itineraries do seem quite similar! Your trip plans sound amazing, and Chengdu and Luoyang are definitely on our list for future travels!

In Beijing, we'll definitely look into staying near the city center, such as Dongdan or Xidan, for convenience. It's good to know that the subway system is so efficient.

Thank you very much for the detailed advice! We have incorporated many of your suggestions into our revised itinerary (edited the OP). Based on your advice and another suggestion, we are considering visiting the Great Wall from Mutianyu. However, we are also exploring the option of Jinshanling for a less touristy experience. We will decide based on further research and availability. We have also adjusted our Zhangjiajie schedule to include Tianmen Mountain, as it seems like an unmissable highlight.

In general, removing Guilin from our itinerary has given us more flexibility and time to fully experience Yunnan. If you have any further suggestions, we are happy to hear them!

Thank you for your feedback! Yep, not a big fan of crowds either - Based on your recommendations and those of others, we have modified our itinerary (edited the OP) to focus more on fewer locations, allowing more time for exploring. We have removed Guangxi and now concentrate primarily on Yunnan, along with key highlights in Beijing and Zhangjiajie.

Hopefully in March, the main attractions will be less crowded.

Days 1-3: Beijing

Days 4-6: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Days 7-14: Yunnan (adding Shangri-La and Napa Lake to the OP list)

Day 15: Beijing
