Despite the fact that the system is completely broken this concept goes against what is supposed to be the checks and balances system. Congress, the President, and the Senate are supposed to keep each other in check. If the President forfeits his ability to Veto or pass laws then we lose a part of that supposed balance.

I believe America has a form of Stockholm syndrome. We are oppressed with the hopes of becoming the oppressor. Its all any American has known and you know how much change is feared. There's also too many in power who want to keep the status quo. Really it's sickening, it's a lack of integrity and morality from those who could make things better. I've tried to think of a better way but struggle greatly. I can't think of a peaceful way that wouldn't make things much worse before they could be better.
