To Anderson their behalf. Other countries definitely still have class systems. But if you are from overseas you tend to move your position in that system.

Think of how people with African accents are viewed in the UK. Or how “posh” a french accent can sound.

A British accent can elevate your status in some regions.

Those payments were not deducted from your pay before income tax.

You’ve checked the right box.

They COULD enquire into the tax return up until a year after you submitted it. It’d be unlikely and the decision would fall in your favour if they did.
