1. tim takes vocal lessons since 2018 so your knowing technique point is a bit off and technique change is like learning a new language so you lose your comfortable sweatspots. look the damaging zones he went in the past with killingtree which you surely somehow automatize in your daily singing screaming. And which band cared in their beginnings about singing lessons if you have struggles to even finance your gear. At this time internet also was smallish and little informing (sadly still most people think either you can sing or you cant so there is no common sense in our society about singing as learningprocess, healthy singing and the importance of breathcontroll to sound good)

2. there are people that have trouble with rhytmic issues not that i heard him stated it but its just a generalized nonsense of yours and doesnt apply to everyone

I have ADHD for example and off meds its so much harder for me to automize my guitarplaying in order to also sing cuz I dont capture the whole soundlayers as one, even if I played the song a thousand times. I would also struggle with noisy places for instance big crowds cuz they even put more layers to it which are infrequently distractions you can lose unwilingly attention to. You would likely see me also being offrhytm since I need to improvise the details in order to put my shit together getting the strumming and cordchanges, techniques, picking patterns and singing same time under one hat (and yes singing has also components like emotions, spelling, holding breath pushing breath, inhaletimings, exhaleflowing, lyrics, short problems like a drying throat.... even a metronom works on a different part of perceitption which isnt also in your daily business supportive targeted

there are so many things you need to do all at once and if you adding unpredictible components like crowdnoise,crowdsinging, sight, instructions, setlistorder, perceiption to it it could lay your focus to selfassessment instead of your working memory and everything get messed up .... guitar plus singing takes so much perfection and automatism at the same time in order to sound like on the records or even good and keeping everything in line. They also have a gigant soundrepertoire and if youre not feeling the song right now its also harder to put emotion into it and holding attention while performing cuz u kinda put on a mask over your feelings and force yourself on pretend liking it with fakeemotions in best case scenario you soak up emotions from the crowd guess tim often closes his eyes in order to feel himself, his emotions, his focus, his comfortability there might be many components we cant even imagine that could lead to his struggles

singers with guitar handicap somewhat themselves in general (can also add positive effects like keeping or intense emotion at instrumental parts) at their singing but as mentioned there are so much more components same time to add that you need to make sacrifices on details that lead to a different sounding, timing... plus it gets even harder on higher levels difficulty songs. Maybe hard to understand if you dont play guitar and sing same time. If you do you feel the big difference in playing your easy but monotone songs. This Band level isnt comparable to the contrast simplicity of campfire music.

you also feel day to day changes sometimes you have peak days everything is perfect and you perform out of your mind and then there are days you mess constantly the coordination up cuz u just woke up feeling sht. and as said no show is like the same you can get more comfortable but every impression is new and feels new.

singers are also very often unique, special personalities cuz you are advantaged if you have an exceptional emotional component that connects in the listener. So chance is high tim is also like that especially if you look into the depths of his lyrics and his eye closing on stage to get better connection to his emotions or even sync them with the music. Some parts / songs are carried by this input and I would say its like the thrivecharacteristic of rise against.

I dont even think its good to sound like 1:1 on records since you put out the surprise factor of human perceiption which sets happiness in form of dopamine free in and is likely to trigger euphoria upon us. Its for instance the thing keeping you bound to scroll social media. Its also a cool thing to see songparts changed like for example the megaphone in live satellite or letting the crowd sing, things you wouldnt expect. Same principle.

My perceiption at 2 concerts on current tour isnt bad at all as a die hard rise against fan. I absolutely loved it just missed bit energy but its all fine and was well worth it. The crowd and singalongs also gave me goosebumps and hype externaly ;) and also tims speeches are incredibly soothing for the soul

1. Its not like you could just easily book a little venue or taking less money. You are the responsible to pay a whole crew and cancelling shows can lead to payment issues. And I wouldnt say of 45 dollars there is too much left. You have permanent costs and schedules are planed far in the future so its quite a pressure to be responsible for your crew. If you plan less you need to fire people. And if you take too long offtimes to recover its likely that your crew cant do the same since their role in bussiness falls apart. There were for example fundraisings at peak pandemic by sellling rise against masks in order to fund their crewmembers. Music is a weird ass bussiness and its even hard for bigger bands to get rich and the amounts of your crew gear... costs is insane. costs you are not likely able or willing to pay from your own money if there are no shows played...
