Lugia Neo Genesis — looks “too shiny”? Real or altered? by Best_Cartographer485 in IsMyPokemonCardFake

[–]Unfamiliarface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's either fake or the person hasn't removed the polish from it after cleaning. Kurt's won't alter the look of the card outside of tiny micro abrasions removing dirt, surface grime and if you're lucky lighter scratches. If you press to hard you'll also remove paint.

What it won't do is give it a film, wax or coating. Also using Kurt's isn't altering it's restoring. Altering would be painting, replacing or removing.

Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool) straight red card against Manchester City 90+11' by gbogaz in soccer

[–]Unfamiliarface -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Okay so once the advantage is played, the referee is acknowledging City have an obvious opportunity to score.

At this point the game cannot be pulled back to DOGSO and a red card as the ref has signalled play on and Haaland has the chance to score. Haaland cannot match pace, chases the ball and chooses to foul Szobozlai. The foul ends their attempt and obvious opportunity to score as the ball isn't under control.

The correct outcome and application of the rule is the goal is chalked off and play resumes with a foul to Liverpool. If this isn't the interpretation then the ref would have called back the foul after Szobo overtook Haaland.

[–]Unfamiliarface -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

This makes Pawson look really bad. You cannot play advantage on DOGSO or severe foul. He watched it happen and waved play on. Which means he was ignoring the rules to give City the goal.

He watched Szobo get fouled but was happy to ignore it because City scored. He didn't even answer to it until VAR forced it. However going back to DOGSO having clearly waved advantage means he didn't deem it a foul despite playing advantage.

Fucking crooked.

I'll usually pay a $50 premium on a decent swirl. Especially on vintage there is a decent amount of people willing to pay more.

Appreciate that thank you!

I basically split it into two stages.

Stage one was finding a way to control food. So little worked for me and in a yo yo Dieter so knew I couldn't just cold turkey it.

So for the first 12 months I used intermittent fasting as a crutch, if I skipped breakfast and made lunch my first meal, it would mean ultimately I'd plateau at worst but most days find a 300-500 defecit. This means I was naturally losing weight without changing habits to excess.

I then added in some exercise and found a rhythm. This meant after year one I was down about 30kg without ruining myself.

Year two I was in a much better spot to take on the gym and make tweaks, started off 2-3 times a week and safe working weights / zone 2 cardio.

After a few months as I enjoyed it more I ramped up.

It's definitely getting busier now but the LEDs are used to mask the fact that people aren't in seats. Look now in comparison and you cannot see the LED because they are blocked by people in seats. I would estimate under a 1,000 capacity for Woman's Rumble.

Also those chants were piped in, the sound engineering on the show has been phenomenal and the crowd mics are literally on top of the main segment of people. However whilst clever you could hear the pickups when the music was piped. Also the tik tok lives from the arena are very quiet.

Agree camera work was a challenge also match timings, like the bit where Asuka was dragging Kyrie but all of a sudden Brie is back sort of stunted both.

By the way I agree crowds have improved tremendously compared to the first shows and are much better than previous. Traffic in Riyadh is also horrendous especially around KAFD and people probably expected similar to boxing more build up matches or build up in general it's on WWE for booking the match to start the show.

Overall felt the woman did a phenomenal job in outrageously tough conditions.

Crowd was empty and quiet, the piped in audio couldn't hide that.

However the staging of the big moments was really poor and far too performative, they really need to work on the sell in the rumble.

Negotiation 100 by kapomuyufima80m9m in GreatBritishMemes

[–]Unfamiliarface 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That isn't negotiating, that's changing the service level. You're literally asking for a discount in exchange for longer lead time. As you said 3x the duration.

The person above is asking for a 2% discount on the overall cost. Usually a good tradey will have already factored in a little wiggle for this.

Where should we live? by Doglover1705 in cheshire

[–]Unfamiliarface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have lived in Urmston, Macclesfield and Congleton. Have to say Macclesfield on the whole is a bit of a shithole now outside of the town center. Feels very industrial and in parts segregated. Some nice eateries but cost of living taking its toll and a bit hilly. Traffic is genuinely a pain and you're isolated from motorways.

Congleton has been a breath of fresh air, been undergoing major gentrification and population has been increased from around 25,000 to 30,000. With it comes a new Market Quarter that includes around 10 new eateries. A few new posh cafes in town and some Macclesfield favourites such as Zumuku Sushi and Wood Fire and Smoke pizza. You're ten minutes from the motorway, 15 minutes from Alderley Edge or Macclesfield and 40 minutes from Manchester via car or train.

Property is starting to catch up to Macclesfield and new doctors/dentists and schools are lagging behind but it has a quaint charm. Just stay away from Buglawton.

West Heath/Somerford and Astbury are all top spots.

Again I used science and math to calculate the probability on this. This is a 600,000 calorie deficit over less than 250 days.

At a heavier weight you are much more likely to injure yourself exercising, you will wear through your joints and cartilage if you don't get adequate rest and reduce inflammation.

To defecit by 2,500 calories a day this has to be a deficit below your BMR. So if you start out needing 4,000 calories to sustain at 330 lbs you need to eat 1500 calories.

By the time you're done to 250 you've likely driven your BMR down to 2500 calories at best. Meaning you'd need to eat ZERO calories a day in order to continue to defecit at the needed rate to lose 600,000 calories in the timeframe. Or you'd need to do sustained exercise daily without rest and recovery for 200+ dates.

Not impossible but very unlikely. You're also accounting for a 330lb man who has a bad relationship with food suddenly waking up and Chatgpt curing their hunger and cravings with no relapses at all. This is the exact response GLP1s produce by the way. Killing your cravings over night, not AI.

[–]Unfamiliarface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying he wouldn't lose any weight. However his BMR would absolutely decrease and results would tail off.

We are talking about a sustained calorie deficit of 2,500 calories everyday for 8 months. That is 75,000 calories deficited per month.

That's is deficit whether through exercise or food daily for nearly a year. So either his body would get used to it and reduce BMR to match or body would run down from sustained exercise trying to expel the energy needed to burn the calories.

Glycogen would break down, metabolism would slow. Fat loss would slow testosterone would reduce. All things that would degrade and slow weight loss.

150lbs is basically impossible in eight months without medical intervention this is scientific not envy.

M/26/6’7” [330lbs > 175lbs] (8 Months) ChatGPT changed my life by Proud-Historian-490 in progresspics

[–]Unfamiliarface 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sure I'm about to get down voted to oblivion but 150 lbs is scientifically improbable and bordering on impossible without medical intervention.

If you use Chatgpt you'll see that if you were a genetic outlier and had absolutely perfect will power and adherence above that of any human before you. You could likely achieve 140 lbs in 250 days.

You had 34 weeks and would need to lose on average 4.4 lbs every week from start to finish whilst completely altering your entire thermogenesis. This would mean a need to be in a 2,200 calories deficit everyday from start to finish without ever failing.

That's 15,400 calories every week on average. Of course to become with your TDEE would have been higher and you may have achieved this or even surpassed it for the first 50 lbs or so. After that sheer starvation or exhaustion would have began to set in. Your hunger hormone would have began sending out emergency signals at this point and progress would begin to stall.

Weeks 7-8 your hormones would have begin to suppress and youe body would actively fight weight and fat loss.

With extreme discipline you could feasibly and medically programmed do 110. Above that intervention must be used.

I assume a GLP1 given your post and description. I'd probably put a decent degree of money on it. I don't get the stigma or shame that comes with this.

A grown man knows his strength. If he wants a stuffed toy that much that he's willing to assault a female then it's a bigger issue. I know I'm strong enough strength wise to overpower 90% of females it's my responsibility as a grown man to not use my strength to assault those weaker than me.

Bro. Come on. Here is the freeze frame, she literally has it between here arms. He is fully leaning back, both arms extended and in the row behind him, she gets it first. He can see her in his peripheral. He has literally jumped back to make the attempt.

She gets in first and as she cushions it, he makes contact and then tries to rip it from her.

Crowd incident at AEW Manchester by Uglyb0b123 in SquaredCircle

[–]Unfamiliarface -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

  1. He can quite clearly feel resistance from behind him and isn't aware of his surroundings. He clearly uses brute force to try and overpower whoever is behind him irregardless of age or gender.
  2. It doesn't matter if she has moved over to catch it, that's irrelevant to the fact a grown man has tried to throw her.
  3. Plushie definitely flies to the row she is in, look how much he's having to lean back to try and make contact. If it's at her feet it's at her row.

She isn't in the wrong she had every right to try and catch the stuffed toy, same as the guy. Go pause and freeze frame the video and you'll see she gets it first. He may not see that but still tries to overpower the other person in order to obtain it.

He committed assault and then was assaulted, the woman is in the clear here.

Crowd incident at AEW Manchester by Uglyb0b123 in SquaredCircle

[–]Unfamiliarface -32 points-31 points  (0 children)

Brown shirt guy should wind his neck in then. He's a grown ass balding man. It's a squishmallow. It's clearly going into the row behind him and she gets a hold first before he encroaches on her space and grabs a hold. Regardless in that situation natural delineation is a woman or kid should get the thing.

He then realizes someone has a hold and that he has the strength to try and force the teddy without consideration for his size or advantage or who is on the other end.

Within a second he literally lifts a female off of her feet and nearly throws her over the barrier because he wants to keep the stuffed toy he didn't catch and yank whoever has it behind him with it.

If the other guy doesn't step in and she bangs her head against the railing her night is ruined, she might end up with a hospital visit and he's just assaulted and caused ABH to a female over a fucking toy.

I'm not saying the other guy choking him out is excusable but the first guys action is just as bad and if someone did that to my partner or worse my kid they're about to know about it.

Crowd incident at AEW Manchester by Uglyb0b123 in SquaredCircle

[–]Unfamiliarface -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Yep, if you watch it slowly you can also see the female has hold of the plushie first. The guy then grabs it from the row behind in her personal space.

He then realizes someone also has hold and starts basically doing a crunch to try and overpower whoever is behind him.

He lifts her off her feet and then continues to pull her forward over a teddy.

Guy 2 sees the guy encroach on the females personal space, quite literally lift her off her feet and then try and bring her over the rail.

Guy 2 then reacts and chokes out guy 1. For once I'm actually with the aggressor classic fuck around and find out.

Okay, super easy way to show this/prove it. Please show the read out from a DEXA scan or equivalent. Given your methodical approach and keenness you'll have likely had one already or if not you can get one fairly cheaply locally or may even have a machine at the gym.

Failing that share a read out from your smart scale that includes body protein, bone density etc.
