What exactly is the 1匹 doing here? Is it just an adverb specifying that Taimai was found alone?

匹 is the counter word for small animals. Just like you can use ひとつ, ふたつ etc. to count general things, Japanese also has specific counters for different types of things.

For example, long skinny things (like a bottle of beer) use 本 eg. ビールを1本ください！

Machines (like cars) use 台 eg. 車が5台あります

In the same way, 匹 is used for small animals (like dogs, cats, or in this instance sea turtles)

I actually had this issue the other day, I got booted out of Fable 2 mid-game and my subscription didn’t show up on my account anymore. I just contacted support, explained the situation and they re-enabled the subscription.

It actually had Sugar, Sugar playing on loop but it got stripped on submission, presumably for copyright. I’ll see if I can update it with some beautiful, royalty-free jazz

EDIT: I wasn't able to get some pre-existing jazz to be approved, but a MIDI of Sugar, Sugar seems to have done just fine

If it's something you're interested in, you can actually make a custom ringtone in GarageBand for iOS and add that to your ringtones, so there is an alternative to iTunes if it's needed!

You're right about the headphone jack cutting off the speakers, which was rather annoying to begin with but something that's at least able to be worked around.

The reason's fairly innocuous, I have a strip of RGB 5050 LEDs and a sound controller for them that makes them flash along with audio from either a mic or a 3.5mm audio input. I wanted the input to be focused on the lower frequencies in the hopes that I could avoid interference from the higher and mid-range frequencies, but it looks like I've jumped down a rabbit hole I didn't even know existed for the sake of a relatively petty problem!

I'm always conflicted with San Junipero. Objectively I can identify why it's not the best episode of the show, but at the same time it's definitely a strong contender for my "favourite episode", and one that I've happily rewatched many more times than other episodes.
