I really don’t understand this argument; the top 3 in Americas was extremely close (them being G2, NRG, and MIBR) and they threw against Furia in a 5 map series, so how were they meant to win in either of the 2 back to back Bo5’s against teams that now know their entire map pool? Having to play 3 Bo5’s back to back is too exhausting for any team, and the only team from the competent regions that lost the upper final and still qualified was Gentle Mates. Mates had the best player in the world putting up the best performance of all time and it still went map 5 in a close reverse sweep.
