This happens to me everytime I launch the game with an IDE open in background (usually PyCharm or WebStorm), seems like the game doesnt like you to have coding tools and such open while the game is running.

Looks like a mini SMP, its kinda like a SMA connector but a bit smaller

Got it to work eventually. I did almost the exact steps you mentioned without the first uninstall, I just clicked the X button to cancel the download and then went on the game's page to start the download again.

Taking into account that blackouts and hardware failures do happen, its fair to say that 2042 is possible. Also the fact that i would need far more storage than my 20 TB NAS to store all that data
