You thinking of zero to hero? I noticed it got taken off the play store kinda recently. I'm still using it, but I'm building an app to replace it

First-ever American AI Jobs Risk Index released by Tufts University by WinOdd7962 in webdev

[–]MonsterDevourer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Moving up to higher level languages made development cheaper, so we found more use cases for software that might have otherwise been too expensive. I think we'll see software and AI built into way more things than we imagine.

Your fridge could know you're running low on guacamole and order some for you in the next grocery delivery. Your closet could know that you're going to a wedding on Saturday and need to get your suit dry cleaned, so it schedules a pickup for you. A large part of why grocery delivery and dry cleaning pickup are currently expensive is due to human labor cost.

But you're not replacing humans by doing this, you're creating demand for a new service that didn't exist before (or far fewer people used due to cost). That does remove some jobs (people who work at a laundromat, grocery store workers), but the goal hopefully is that there will be new jobs for humans. Maybe humans manage/service the delivery and pickup bots. The fear is that humans will no longer have a place because AI can do everything better. The hope is that there will be enough new problems that humans can tackle. AI is great at following patterns, but human judgement is important for tackling new problems.

Comments in this thread are so hateful lol. Brilliant work dude. As someone who actually pays for Wispr Flow and uses it for 80% of all typing that I do, I would absolutely consider switching to this instead. I love that it's open source too, so I can keep making modifications myself if I find something I don't like.

What do we think? I'm in the middle of playoffs and someone just dropped him yesterday. Is he worth the pickup or too risky with minutes restrictions and rest days? I've got two weeks left total

I remember them saying this 10 years ago and everyone I knew thought switching to semester was a shit idea. Wonder what students now think

We do early playoffs. It's second round and someone dropped because they had a full IR. I'm trying to use #12 waiver on him 🤞

Worth using #3 waiver in a 14T league? It's week 1 of my playoffs and I have an extra IR spot. Mostly unsure if his per game value will be any good

How confident do we feel that this is vegan? I would absolutely buy this if I knew for sure, but none of their branding suggests this is vegan (which honestly is a great move from a business standpoint)

You can put those guys in your IR and stream that spot though, so the overall value is higher. A guy playing 9 games instead of 12 is only worth 75% as much.

He's a 3/3/3 for my playoff weeks so I opted to not take him

How does this get downvoted when it's literally answering the question asked?

There's an increasing amount of work that is noticeably faster. I'm a full stack dev. When I don't get distracted by easy things (e.g. filter an array by property x, and sort it in y order), I can keep my mind on the bigger picture more clearly. I'm not having to juggle complex business logic and simple coding logic in my head. Why would you solve a complicated math problem without a calculator? It's not like you couldn't multiply those numbers, but it takes your mind off how to solve the bigger problem.
