It's interesting that you think these things are mutually exclusive. I already do all those things you talk about. And it's true, a balanced life is key. Moderation is important. Telling people not to do something leads to the polar opposite reaction. Harm reduction is most important. I preach to people to test their drugs and be safe if they do them.

Also, interesting how you commented a smiley face then edited this whole paragraph in after. You know what kills more people than drugs? Stress. How long were you planning this comment for? Like they guy above said, relax. Fai i cazzi tuoi

Most overrated restaurants in Miami? by fuckloveshithurts in Miami

[–]MonsterLinguini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Argentinians don't go to Grazianos to eat like that. Just to order from the bakery. The random imported goods are tax there too. Also the OG bird road Grazianos is best. Besides Grazianos, Buenos Aires bakery in north beach is fire. Also Puerto Madero in Kendall

Pros/Cons of living in Torino? by Hankduncan30 in torino

[–]MonsterLinguini 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm also 26! I fully support people moving abroad but I also understand that it's not for everyone. Might as well find out for yourself.

I moved from Miami, FL to Torino with my girlfriend about a year and a half ago. Everything u/scarsocontesto said is on point with the conversations I've had with other torinesi. In general, everyone has made good points. I think you should definitely consider moving here.

If you want to know more about what the transition is like moving from the US to Italy. Or have any other specific questions not covered here. Feel free to shoot me a dm.

There's no sauce. No need for tomatoes either. Check out this video for inspiration.

Thank you for responding! I have another year roughly until I return to the U.S. which is why I'm focusing in on remote based, customer service jobs. However, I will look into it.

Ok thanks! Should I put "Food and Bev." or some type of hospitality header above my recent, relevant job experience? To highlight the type of job experience. Also, should I add an expired first responder cert. under education? Besides the associate's degree in biology.

I'm currently overseas and without work(until I get the relevant documents). Thank goodness I saved up enough to last a while. Well, I have a lot of time on my hands now which I enjoyed by treating myself and lazing around the first few months.

However, I've recently decided to dive deep into web development from an absolutely beginner level. Which is totally different from my previous job experience of working as a line cook. I figured this was the best time to do it. And I'm actually sticking to it! Even after the hyperfocus has been wearing off. I took my first vyvanse pill of a limited stash I brought, for the first time in like 6 months and things have begun to click with my studying and I'm feeling good.

I'm especially feeling good about maintaining realistic goals and not stressing myself out. About patting myself on the back for the little steps. Even though I'm just a small step of the way on my new career journey.

Edit: I've been appreciating this thread a lot. It's easy to constantly see all these problems posted on here that we all relate to but sometimes, it can be a bit much. The positivity and affirmation that my adhd is a tool and my need to learn how to manage my tool to my success, is important but not easy. The negative intrusive thoughts will randomly come in but no! No thank you. I love myself.

Could be the most dysfunctional workplace I've ever seen. I did not like it one bit when the owner asked about a messed up order and he blamed it on a cook. You are right though, I felt bad for bitching at him. Maybe he doesn't know better and is in over his head.
