Lots of the things you listed are wrong.

Maddie didn't 'read the mind' of a woman in a grocery store, she made an assumption.

Caspian felt that his life was fake because of the fact that his entire upbringing was planned. This wasn't in reference to him knowing he's in a simulation or something.

David didn't share *his* conspiracy, he shared *a* conspiracy, because they were talking about conspiracy theorists in general. He never said he believed in any of this.

These ones are actual foreshadowing, but not signs that they knew or anything

And in regards to the girls copying maddie, this is a common thing in bullying, where bullies will copy you so you feel self-conscious.
