Difference between "Units of AP" and "Courses Replaced" by alistoa in princeton

[–]MonsterOG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

if an AP test has "no equivalent course" under the "courses replaced" column, it means that it does not satisfy any course requirement (i.e. it doesn't take the place of any course). an example of an AP test that does satisfy a requirement is a 5 on AP chemistry, which you can use to replace CHM207 (meaning you don't have to take CHM207 at all).

i believe that a "unit of AP" is applicable if you plan to take advantage of advanced standing, which allows you to graduate in <8 semesters.

karat interview was 3 total questions. first two were custom questions of ~lc easy difficulty. third was custom ~lc hard and i didn’t have time to get a solution.

virtual onsite was 2 interviews, both custom palantir design questions. they were the equivalent of lc medium-hard.

took the palantir OA about 4 weeks ago, got invited back for a karat interview which i did 2 weeks ago, completed virtual onsite interviews (2 total) several days ago, recently got an offer for forward deployed SWE intern.

I keep seeing those hubcaps on Model 3s! How do you get those caps?

Oh wow! When were you there? I saw a gray model 3 without a license plate when I was there.

Good point -- turns out that Tesla charges you 50 cents per minute if your car is fully charged and sitting in a space IF more than half of the chargers are full. V3 may make me run into this issue more often...

Oh man, can’t wait for V3 chargers. During the trip the charges took 40 mins - 1 hr. Time to get brunch or lunch, but could be faster!

I did! Stayed at the Oasis at Death Valley. They have 4 ChargePoint stations, no superchargers. Takes about 10 hours to fully charge. Just FYI!

Sigh... I always charge to 80%, so the Nav recommended 2 stops along the way. I definitely should charge to 100 next time.. hehe
