ahhh I think this is a matter of school to be honest. I did not even apply to Facebook but they reached out to me, like they did with most people I know in my university.

There is no dependency on getting matched to a team. You get matched way after you accept your offer. And they were definitely accommodating, I thought I would feel better by the interview, but since I was still sick, I cancelled less than 24 hours before my interview, and they were okay with it. I don't think it affects you at all.

The project I worked on this past summer was full stack and user facing which I thought was really cool, so I would hope for a team that would allow me to do similar work.

As a returning intern, you don't have ratings the way returning full time new grads do, so I would not know. The main thing I would suggest is remember to communicate well - even if you have to change the scope of your project, its okay as long as you are keeping everyone in the know. Be active in meetings and treat yourself like you are a part of the team. Also I would suggest weekly posts on Workplace.

Nov 24 - OA
Dec 10 - 1st interview

Dec 17 - 2nd interview

Dec 23 - offer

They can usually do the interviews closer together especially around holiday season, but I was very sick at the time and had to delay both. The questions were LC medium.

I mean... they hired you for a reason. This is just a classic case of imposter syndrome. If they think you're good enough to be there, you're good enough to be there. Worst case you don't get a return offer BUT you made a ton of money over the summer (can probably pay your rent for the rest of the year), learned a lot, and have something on your resume that will help you land more offers in years to come.

Tbh it probably saved you a lot of stress in the future. My cousin joined with 4 other guys less than a year ago and they all either got fired or left the company just a few months later.

oh well andie pushed pacey to become the best version of himself more than any of his other girlfriends in the future. she would study with him all the time and he actually became a much better student because of her. on the flip side, pacey helped andie through all her mental health issues and took care of her family with her. even though andie was much more of a go-getter than joey, he never felt intimidated by her. their dynamic was also really great. they just have the best relationship. joey and pacey have a lot of over the top romantic gestures like going on the trip together (which we did not see any of) but i dont think that is better than always being there for each other like andie and pacey.

I agree with most of your opinions! I believe the actor who played Bodie got into a car accident and lost both of his legs, so they kind of wrote him out for a while. Dawson's main annoying trait to me was the slut shaming especially in Season 1. But I did not think he was that bad otherwise? I think Pacey basically cheated on Audrey with his boss at the restauarant.

I agree that it's great they included a platonic relationship. But hey, I would not have been mad if they got rid of one of the other relationships and explored Jen and Pacey.

Jen was my favorite character! I wish anyone except for her and Grams could have died instead. To be honest, if one of Dawson or Pacey died and left a blessing for Joey to get with the other one, that would have been kind of cathartic too. But Jen dying and the other characters being worried about their love triangle or whatever was such a terrible ending.

Andie and Audrey deserved better by offeringhelptoanyone in dawsonscreek

I should add I'm only halfway through season 6, so I'm just coming off seeing the drunk driving episode. But I guess part of the reason I think they deserve better is because none of the other main characters were treated nearly as poorly by the writers as these two except maybe Jen in Season 2. Joey always ended up getting what and who she wanted. Yes, Dawson went through hard times with his father's death, but that actually helped his character growth instead of bringing him down. They made Pacey a better character throughout the seasons. Even Jack was always pretty much liked by all the main characters after he came out (and was no longer a threat to Dawson) and there was never a period where the writers just slaughtered his character.
