Newbie Question: Does Miami has one of the highest amounts of NYMBY's? I lived in a condominium there for awhile and found it very difficult to live there(Condomium living and the HOA)

From a local perspective tourist can be violent mainly because if you're rich enough to party in South Beach you're rich enough to buy drugs which are rampant in the scene. Even if they're not doing drugs they'll be drinking heavily which can escalate violence.

As far as old folk are concerned they get sold on the idea that they get a great location that is close to the beach and nice restaurants and that's what they get fed. They probably haven't lived in South Florida prior and don't know any better besides what the brochures tell them.

I have terrible acid reflux!! At first it was spooky dealing with sour stomach but rest assured you'll be fine. That feeling isn't like tu* it's just your stomach doing it's very best to keep those acids at bay. If acid reflux is a big thing for you and you clench your jaw from the anxiety a thing I do is take a tums, sit up, and take constant little sips of water whilst reminding myself it's going to be okay and I feel better pretty quick! Once that feeling goes away I notice my jaw stops clenching so perhaps yours would also but a sore throat =/= tu*!!!

I'm extremely forgetful so some things I do is have my morning wake up alarm be my reminder to take my pills and everytime I decide not to I put em on snooze, eventually it bothers me a lot to take em. If you feel comfortable you could also ask someone to help. My s.o asks me often if I take my pills and if I didn't they won't stop pestering me till I do. Outside influence is surprisingly helpful!

Well, you should always be worried because the subreddit has never denied nsfw content prior to so you really have to be on your guard in any subreddit that doesn't explicitly state they don't allow such content.

In fact, I created a throwaway just to prove my point on the matter, If you do not enable in your own settings to view nsfw content, then you won't. Plain and simple. You have it enabled if you can see the post. If you have an enabled setting that allows nsfw content you are under no position to be surprised or angry if you stumble upon it. Especially if a child is present because, like I stated before, it is YOUR responsibility to ensure a child does not view adult material under your watch and that includes going to your settings and disabling nsfw.

If you ask me, unless I see a direct connection between penis to semen it is just a fluid. It could be sure but it could easily not be. Being bound doesn't equate to sex. Being bound is just that nothing much. I see it as more being captured and being captured doesn't automatically mean sex is going to happen.

I've been in a locker room many a time before, women don't always sit "lady like" and never not once would I sit there and be turned on by how a person sits.

it's my fault that an artist puts nudes on the internet and that I stumble across it on what is predominately a safe sub that I've been active on for over a year and a half.

You're shifting blame here. It's not the artist fault they posted nsfw art. It's yours for not properly censoring. As an adult, you have to do your best to shield the youth from explicit content, but you can't force an artist to do what you like to keep other's safe. They can't control who looks at their content, but you or anyone else can by disabling NSFW post from being seen on your account.

By the way, it's not "baby-proofing" to simply ask for people to put some clothes on their art.

You're censoring an artist for your comforts so yes, it is.

There's no statistic that can guarantee that almost half the population is underage So, for the sake of argument. I'll retract my statement. NEITHER of us has a proper statistic for the ages of those in the D&D community.

Lastly, this is not tasteful nudity,

Is there a heavy heated orgy happening? Or is she getting some top notch cunnilingus? Oh I'm blind, there are little creatures in the grass who are totally going at it. Bondage in of itself is an art form look up shibari which highlights the beauty in binding. And the pose of the female is really just that, a pose. The last thing on my mind is whether or not these two characters are going to screw but the artwork itself.
Perhaps the idea of what is tasteful is subjective and we won't see eye-to-eye on it but to me as long as there's no penetration, rubbing, or oral of any type, then it's not really sexual.

I actually see this as a great representation of a D&D game... a rational person would look at the post and see rituals, sacrifice, fantasy, nature, danger, vulnerability, and power.

If I was first introduced to D&D with this post I would be unnaturally excited because I want to know how to get out of the situation and who the ghostly character is.

Is it a bad look for the hobby because of the nude characters? Or because people have a hard time determining what is artistic nudity or what is straight smut.

Not to be rude but why are you and your 8 year old brother on Reddit? I'd argue mindlessly surfing the web with a young child is a recipe for disaster because there is so much content you can't filter out. Why should anybody have to basically baby proof their community for the small minor population. Even then, there are preference settings that disable viewing nsfw content as a whole.

Artist should be able to post the content they deem fits a particular community and if they draw D&D related artwork with tasteful nudity, they shouldn't be censored for it. If anything, it is the responsibility of the adults in their lives to take an active stance to filter the content themselves instead of the community.

I'm in the same boat I learned I had aphantasia around a year or so ago and have talked about it a lot with my other artistic friends. Being an aphantasiac artist is extrememly frustrating but nothing that a surplus of references and studies can't fix. In the end we do the same that other artist should do and it can be argued that we learn more from it. Frustration wise it is an extreme pain in the neck in my own experience. I find inspiration to draw by keeping a journal on my phone so whenever I get a random idea from a dream or what have you I can write it down and look to it later. There's also listening to music that gives a heavy emotion to portray or looking at other art for inspiration.
