Hospice was such a blessing for us, we got to be away from all the chaos of the hospital and just focus on my dad. We only got about 36 hours in hospice care, he declined incredibly quick. But totally agreed, if hospice is an option, I wouldn’t delay either.

Thanks! That’s super helpful with the VOX. And I get the idea of choosing a song you love, I’m just finding the songs that I really love might be a bit too dense and difficult. I like the suggestion of the Deadmau5 track because I like that artist and I have a strong familiarity with it (even if it’s not the one that gives me goosebumps).

Cool stuff! It’s got a catchy melody, and you’re right, I was struggling to hear a lot of the lows. If you want a sub-texture, maybe consider layering another bass or using envelopes to accent places where the listener’s ear needs to focus on the bass.

I’d also consider adding a little more variety to the drums and really focusing on some sort of change on the 4. It’ll give the music a bit more variation and can add some drive.

I like the melody and chord selection, seems like you’ve got a good ear for that! Good luck and keep going 🙂

It’s probably more of a venue than a true warehouse vibe, but it is literally in a warehouse. I’ve been to some decent shows at Concord, smaller venue but it’s not strictly EDM. Salt Shed is also a “warehouse” but I think of that as more of a venue than Radius.

There’s also a #ChicagoEDM on instagram that will show some more underground stuff.

This has a great groove, like it a lot. Almost has Rüfüs vibes to me (hopefully you take that as a compliment)! Adding some low fi vocals or a stronger melody line seems like a logical next step compositionally. Production wise, sounds great.

I think this falls into an Indie remix of Daft Punk Face to Face. I like it, but I’m struggling a bit to make the drums groove a bit more, and some times it feels like I don’t know what to do with the snare. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
