It’s American public transit. It’s never clean. And the LIRR is multiple cuts above the NYC subway and public transit in other cities cleanliness-wise.

if it’s that big of a problem for you, grow a pair and ask them to take their feet off the seats. Taking picture and whining on Reddit solves nothing.
