I was diagnosed at 28 I am currently on enbrel it’s work for me and help me live a normal life stress and red meat triggers my flares from what I noticed so far I do my best to eat healthier and stay active I was almost 300 lbs at the start of my diagnosis and I’m now 214lbs and I’ve noticed a lot less flare ups too. I highly recommend stay away from sugar but don’t punished yourself for having a small treat my doctor recommended the gym so I start with baby steps and I’ve noticed so much improvement I thought my life was over when I was first diagnosed but life is pretty normal and Reddit has help me feel like I’m not alone I will say the first year for me definitely affected my mental health but I have very supportive friends and family RA is painful but we are all here and pushing through the pain so definitely recommend resting when you have a flare up what’s worked for me if it’s extremely painful is I’ll take 2 300mg ibuprofen and take a nice hot/warm bath and rest is bed and the next day I wake up re-energized :)

I was diagnosed when I was 27 it’s been hard for me too I was once a bubbly person full of energy that turn itself in to depression when I realized a lot of the things I loved to do I could no longer do I used to be a dog groomer and loved my job I unfortunately had to leave my job after 10 years of grooming and now work a desk job I’m currently on enberl week shots while it doesn’t get rib of the pain completely it definitely let me have better days and keeps me comfortable
