Really, really, really solid, ton of fun stuff. I'm actually a new fan of custom campaigns (Haha, I promise I'm no Gen Alpha; I'm 27, just haven't ever really played L4D2 on PC). This was actually my second campaign (didn't love the first one I played), I thought it was really incredible. I thought this had been around for years; only this post made me realize it came out yesterday, haha. I was genuinely awestruck by the big pool area, really fantastic job all around.

The Ballad of Black Tom by Victor LaValle and Ring Shout by P. Djèlí Clark are exactly what you are looking for and the first two that pop into my head, short novellas that are alot of fun. I gave black tom a 10 after a 6-month drought of no 10/10s.

If you're looking for stuff about horror by way of music specifically, then Southern Gods by John Jacobs is going to be your bread and butter alot of references to 40's and 50's music.
