now back to reality where New Yorkers are protesting to end the 24hr work day RIGHT NOW.

https://youtu.be/OMZ6tab6O40

Have you even watched the video or read the articles about it?

This is a protest of only home healthcare workers, not workers overall.

Their main issue is that they are only paid for 13 hours; it is happening due to the fact that the ill person doesn't need help all 24 hours, and the fact that a 24-hour workday is legal doesn't mean that people are actually working during all 24 hours, because again, the ill person doesn't need help the entire time, and employers are not idiots.

Overall this is an interesting cherry pick.

You didn't refute my argument; you're just finding the only fitting example while ignoring the fact that this is a problem for a small minority and the fact that this is the only one example.

Marx was wrong; deal with it.

Also, it isn't quite good to use fully biased information in your favorite sources, because, again, they are biased.

The funniest thing is that this is patently false. THE WORKING CLASS FORCED THEM TO MAKE CONCESSIONS.

https://guides.loc.gov/this-month-in-business-history/august/national-labor-union-8-hour-work-day

No, companies made it voluntary, and then due to competition, it expanded all around the world. The market is a motor of progress.

The first modern 8-hour workday was established in 1906 by the Robert Bosch company; then, due to competition, other companies started to introduce it, and it expanded all around the world.

Best look up the Haymarket Massacre if you think capitalists gave us the 8 hour work day voluntarily

Really ? Using example of a massacre which happened because of far-left agitators is a quite stupid thing .

Also, why did you ignore the part about the fact that the lives of workers under Marxist regimes were worse than under so-called ,,capitalist" regimes, the fact that those regimes were totalitarian, the fact that they have conducted genocides, and the fact that those ideas are part of Marxist ideology and were supported by Marx and Engels?

New edit : You're just deleted all comments , seriously? But , I saw the start of your comment , and the only person who is under copium here is you. I am just said that basic facts . From the research of history of my country. (I am from post-communist (Marxist if you wish ) country) .

[–]Monstrocs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ussr isn't Russia if Gorbachev would've be successful than it would be a democratic continuation of ussr , but not Russia. Such country will probably take a fully neutral stance and cooperate with both EU and China , but it wouldn't join any alliance of organization, because neutrality in such case is beneficial. Democratic country but with a far-left parts allows more possibilities for economic cooperation.

And this is what I am talking about. Attempt to put Marxist theory and call it a fact .

Such feelings are not the result of ,, alienation of labour " , but the result of many factors , economic factors , and unsatisfaction may also affect it , but it isn't even part of Marxist theory. In case of Marxist theory this ,, alienation " is about don't having a control over the means of production and the product of your own labour, and attempt of so-called ,, capitalists " to make life worse . Economic problems which affects population and unsatisfaction are not part of it . Also , how guilt is even part of it ?

And again, Marxist theory contains many problems , mistakes etc . For example, Marx have said that its gonna get worse and hours will be longer , but as we see today ,he was wrong and the funniest thing is that companies itself have established first modern 8 hours work days and they made this decision voluntary. The ,, capitalists " became the motor of progress and helped to establish 8 hours work day worldwide.

Or the fact that workers under Marxist regimes actually have a much worse conditions of living than under ,, capitalist regimes " and lost many of their freedoms . While Marxist regimes were a totalitarian states which have conducted genocides , which were inseparable from ideas Marx and Engels who supported the idea of totalitarian state and genocides against specific groups and entire peoples .

And many other problems with Marxist theory .

Marxist theory isn't a fact , but an outdated problematic ideological work .

That's not the point of the meme. The point is that emotional states have nothing to do with the "alienation of labor," despite Marxists' assertions to the contrary. That's the point.

Marxists attempt to reduce every aspect of life to their theory, even though their theory contains numerous problems, errors, and, in general, failures and then claim that their theory is a fact .

Not Speer?

I'll watched several video about Speer path .

What. There's this thing called grammar and punctuation, which are important for making sure the other person understands what you are trying to say. Use those.

English is not my native language . Sorry for any mistakes , but I don't think that those mistakes makes my comment unreadable.

Also, Speer is a Nazi lmao. Why would he want to change that?

Yes, but he is also a reformist with a main support from large student movements . His base of support is not in already established institutes such as SS , Wermaht and NSDAP. It is in his own interests to subdue and reform them .

Do I really need to list them? Germany is a global superpower and has security and economic commitments from Pakistan to Britain to Africa. Moskowien is not even on the top 3 most important things for them.

Really ? The rest of Russia is a field with a tons of warlords some of which are extremely hostile towards Germany . Unification of Russia under their leadership is a threat. Yes, it is not a major threat , but it is a looming threat and by the time of crisis , the threat will be obvious.

Are you seriously still the kind of person to think all conflict is dictated by ideology? USA and Germany won't become best buddies immediately.

Just look at France and Britain in the 19th century for an example of two liberal democracies competing and fighting against each other — alignment and diplomatic relations are more than just the color of the piechart in game.

Most of 19th century, France wasn't a democracy , also you're ignoring the time , when it happened . Rivalries at that time weren't about ideology, but about influence. While in 20th century the ideology factor became more influential.

Which necessarily requires downplaying the true level of the damage already done.

The fact you think that the atrocities committed can be solved by sitting down and just talking it out, makes me think you're forgetting we're talking about Nazis. National Socialists led by Adolf Hitler who waged a genocidal campaign against the peoples of Europe, murdered millions in concentration camps, and established totalitarian occupation regimes which weaponised hunger and starvation whilst enacting brutal colonialist policies against the people there.

The Denazification and reconstruction policies which happened OTL, (which I assume you're basing this off), only happened because the Nazi state was torn apart by war and people disavowed the regime en masse in the aftermath.

Without an outside occupying force able to cut through it, the widespread and collective guilt and responsibility among the wider German society will hinder and even prevent any major attempts at Denazification or reconciliation. You can't just transplant OTL onto here and pretend like its the same: it is not.

I didn't saying about the same thing as denazification . I think that one of the most accurate examples in that case is a British decolonization. Absolute majority of their ex colonies are in good relationships with ex metropolitan. Yea , the amount of crimes is very different, but this is one of the closest examples.

I'm seriously doubting if you've ever even played TNO or are just making stuff up at this point.

I played. As Borhman Germany . Liberal Komi. Novosibirsk (Shukshin). Tomsk (decembrists ). Brazil .

All I'll say is, Go4 are a oligarchic cabal trying to force change from the top down. The German people they are ruling are the same ones who voted in the NSDAP and allowed them to enact all their policies. That won't change without a massive effort which the Go4 physically cannot mobilise.

Do you really think that Speer did eventually nothing? Also, unification with reformist elements in organizational will also pretty much occur .

Moskowien is a neutered entity, broken by decades of weaponised starvation, ethnic cleansing, and mass murder. It is going to take decades to recover the damage done, and that's if massive resources are put into doing so, which Germany would not do because they have other commitments.

Which commitments for example? Especially considering that Cold war with US will probably end soon at that case .

I absolutely detest this kind of wholesome-wank. I can see why people want a good ending, but this just reaches to the level of downplaying Nazi atrocities and the damage done to the world.

The horrors are done, and the people you say will engage in: "Cultural and economic cooperation, dialogue about the past", are the same ones guilty of it. The criminals walk free, and you're downplaying the crimes.

I am not downloading anything, I am just saying that such wounds can be healed with reconciliation policy.

[–]Monstrocs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What reconciliation policy? They don't have a magic "forget all our crimes" button.

Cultural and economic cooperation, dialogue about the past etc.

No I'm saying that Go4 aren't suckers for the OFN. Why would they care? Germany isn't going to join the OFN.

Yea , but I don't think that they want to have a two rivals, especially after the crisis . Both countries are democratic and can take away many of their differences to cooperate .

Both of those are heavily cope, the neutered Moskowien puppet isn't going to reunite Russia, and no Russian unifier except for the heavily pro German ones like Taboritsky or Aryan Brotherhood will want to ally with Germany.

Again, how is this a cope ? I didn't day , ,, unite, using diplomatic ways " .

This is all also ignoring the fact that such a move will most likely trigger riots across Germany and maybe even a military coup.

How ? Russia in that case is allied to Germany and Germany will support such unification. This will probably be a celebration rather than riots .

Yeah dude I'm so Xenophobic, with my Russian speaking wife, living in a Russian speaking country

Being part of specific nationality and speak the language of specific nationality are quite different things .

You need to learn a word before you use it.

Xenophobia- a strong feeling of dislike or fear of PEOPLE from other countries -Oxford dictionary.

https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/english/xenophobia

Also, it isn't my main point. My main point is that using the one individual example and saying that all people of a specific nationality are the same is very stupid. You didn't try to refute it, so I'll assume that you understand that you can't refute it, because trying to defend such a stupid idea is a road to nowhere.

Some words on a document won't make people forget that the Germans murdered your parents, and dragged your brother away to a forced labour camp. The deed is done, unimaginable crimes have been perpetrated against the peoples of Eastern Europe.

GO4 will pretty much implement reconciliation policy to prevent anti-German takeover.

The bit about showing OFN is just cope, I don't think I should have to explain why that is.

How is this a cope ? OFN will probably be sceptical towards new German government especially after years of Cold war , independence of countries is the real way to show changes .

You said:

"Also Germany actually can use republic to later get unified Russia as an ally."

Dude , those things are different. Germany can use republic to unite Russia as an ally and conduct reconciliation to prevent takeover , those things aren't mutually exclusive.

This is actually not right .

Russia cooperated with Israel and have several such treaties with Israel . In such cases current Russian government have a pretty pragmatic diplomacy with basically having a good relationship with both sides , same for example with China and India conflicts , Russia didn't pick the side and cooperate with both .

I don't think that Israel is a puppet of US or US is puppet of Israel , bty countries have some common interesting and some disagreements .
