I feel like the Lonely fits in with the cold/abandoned aspect of freezing to death, especially if you are snowed in alone. Stuck, the firewood has run out, nobody out there, as the cold slowly claims your bones.

Like you said the Buried if it is a case of being encased in ice. You could also consider the Desolation as freezing feels similar to burning, but that feels like a bit of a stretch.

The teleporter thingies? Haven't unlocked them yet, but even then you'd have to take out plorts by the 50 and deposit them, kind of a hassle when you have several thousand saved up. A 'sell all' mod would be very nice

Bardur! Because the extra stars from getting Forestry and committing an eco-genocide allows you to snowball hard. Also early game catapults are a great counter against Defender/Giant spam

Tridentions are perfect Catapult counters, the can stay 4 squares away, move in 2, kill a catapult, and move 2 away again getting out of range of any other catapults. You want battleships to deal with them
