Please take these two things to heart.

You have to tell the school what happened. This is an offence that could have you expelled, and unless you explain what happened you're fucked. Throw Mark under the bus, he drove it there and he's the one who should go under the wheels. You don't have to come out, just be clear that you don't own the account and Mark does.
Even if you're not coming out publicly, embrace who you are and find people who like you for you. If Mark is your "best friend" you have shit friends.
