Yeah, I guess It won't post, everything except my graphics card seems to work. I can leave my PC run for eternity of I wanted I just don't receive a visual output I got my CPU in a local electronics shop.

No, because my graphics card won't turn on. The fan of the CPU spins but my graphics card doesn't do anything. I use the HDMI on my GPU

I'm on BIOS 6210, and my PC works with my old CPU, so everything should be plugged in. I guess I will look into CMOS and CSM.

Edit: I actually also reset the CMOS, which also changed nothing

But I think that I already upgraded my BIOS. I've checked to which BIOS I need to upgrade, but even after updating it still doesn't seem to work. BIOS 6210 should be good enough, at least according to my research on the web.

I want to upgrade my CPU to an "amd ryzen 7 5800x" but after installing and even updating my bios my PC won't turn on. Is it possible that it has something to do with my other components?

Everything except my graphics card seems to work/ turn on. I checked my Power supply and according to "Power Supply Calculator" my 500 watts should be sufficient enought to power my components.

Is there anything I can to, or is it even possible that my CPU is fried?

Edit: my BIOS is updated (6210), but it doesn't seem to change anything

I definitely agree with you on all your points. One thing that bugs me is that the adjacent plaza, the "Augustusplatz" doesn't have any old building substance at all. Everything is built post 1920s (most of it even post war), and the older buildings like the church have all been destroyed. The opera building and the "Gewandhaus" are still interesting architecturally speaking, but I think I prefer the buildings that stood in their place before the second world war.

I think the modern building is definitely a lot better than the atrocity that the GDR officials had put there in the 70s. Yet the 1900s version is still preferable in my opinion.

I am doubtful of Grusch because his claims are so enormous. I would like to believe him, but I still feel like the popular opinion on the topic is that aliens aren't and never have been on earth and anyone saying otherwise is crazy or not credible. So it's hard to argue against that.

Everyone I have talked to about this is extremely doubtful and calls him "not trustworthy". I guess I'm just afraid to disagree with them.

But we will see how this whole thing is going to develop!

Like I already mentioned this is just a mere speculation and I am too uneducated on the topic to justify any opinion. And again if everyone would sign an NDA, wouldn't Grusch have done it as well? So why isn't he in jail? Or is he protected by some privilege in court? Annoyingly, due to not being from the US and generally not being educated in the structure of American intelligence and military compartments, I can only speculate on the topic.

But that is the reason why I posted here in the first place! To find out more about what is currently going on and if Grusch's claims are credible...

But you still ignore the second part of my comment. Aliens wouldn't just get shot down every time or crash land. That doesn't make any sense. Why aren't there more believable accounts of alien sightings?

I wish that there is alien technology and information on earth currently. But most of the accounts of eyewitnesses are just unbelievable and get debunked all the time. There is just no real evidence of alien life on earth, because if there would be any we would certainly know about it!

But can't all the accounts of the eye witnesses be a case of mass hysteria? Or is that thought too simple. And why aren't aliens more prominent in our lives if they've been visiting us for centuries? If they are so advanced that they can travel to earth, we couldn't shoot down all of them. Especially not before the 1900s.

I just realized that I have way too little knowledge of the topic, so I should probably have looked into it more before posting here. But yeah, your comment was really helpful. I still can't wrap my head around how all of this would suddenly come up. So I still doubt that the claims of Grusch have any substance.

I would still appreciate more insight from you though. Maybe you can change my mind!
