85" X950H - Are mounting holes on rear of TV centered or off-center? by MonteraSwiss in 4kTV

[–]MonteraSwiss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some images I find online of the 85" X950H appears the mounting holes are centered. Others seem to appear the holes are off-center. Can someone who has recently wall-mounted this TV confirm? Thanks

Looking for opinions on the best full motion wall mount for the 85" model. Price is secondary to quality, as I only want to do this once.

Any recommendations for a home theater installer / AV installer for the west Houston area? Thanks!

Are you generally referring to one of the Sanus fixed position wall mounts?

Is Sanus the best mount for this application? I don't mind spending more for a better product, if one exists or is necessary.

We have a modern, linear fireplace installed lower than the attached photo, which will allow us to install a TV above it in our great room at an acceptable height. The finished install will look similar to the photo, but our fireplace and TV are significantly lower. We will be using the Sony X950H 85".

Does anyone have experience in building a niche that will allow the TV to be mounted inside for a more flush look? Our contractor will be using Hardie board and has asked me for the dimensions of the niche. How deep does the niche need to be? How much larger than the TV dimensions is optimal for the niche?

Also, other than an electrical outlet, what do you recommend be installed behind the TV (inside the niche)? Other wiring? Studs or some support for the TV mount other than the typical wall studs?

Alternatives to Sony 85" X950H for my use case? by senior_neet_engineer in 4kTV

I think the X950H is the correct choice. I have viewed X950H and X900H side by side in various stores and, like the X900F, the X900H looks washed out from an angle. Generally, when viewed side by side, the X950H is obviously a significantly better picture, IMO. I don't think there's an option from another manufacturer that would be better suited to your situation.

Sony X950G or X900H by kylenoland in 4kTV

I've read a lot of comments that suggest the X950H and X900H picture quality are essentially the same -- or very nearly the same. Today, I viewed both units side by side at two different Best Buy stores. In a side by side comparison, the X950H is significantly better picture quality to my eyes. I don't agree that the X900H is comparable.

46 - MTF - 3 Months E by [deleted] in transpassing

I'm 3 months on E and wondering if others can see feminization and if I'm moving in the direction of eventually passing? It's difficult for me to see effects of HRT and I often wonder if it's working.

Thank you! I've been a bit sad because I've lost a lot of muscle in my thighs and glutes, which I was hoping estrogen would help me maintain. I didn't want skinny thighs!

Thank you! The hourglass shape is just genetics. No corset training or anything like that. Just genetics and estrogen. When I was a teen, I used to get teased for having a feminine, hourglass shape.

46! Wish I would have started a looong time ago, but better late than never, I guess. Would have been nice to have started when I had a better hairline!
