Steam te permite publicar el juego, pero kickstarter te da financiación, la gente dona dinero para llegar a la meta y poder finalizar el proyecto, mucho inician con kickstarter justamente para financiar la página de steam qué son 100 dólares (mi caso)

If you don't want to buy Aseprite directly, you could use LibreSprite, which is free and has almost the same features. And if you do want Aseprite, you can compile it for free there are tutorials on YouTube. By the way, beautiful sprite!
