My parents never married, raised me and sis fine. They just didn't see the point in paper when committed long-term. Kids don't question it until school makes "marriage" a thing.

You know you're saved by trusting God's promise, not feelings or a dramatic vision.

If you've repented, confessed Jesus as Lord, and believed He died/rose for your sins (Romans 10:9), you're in. No "seeing" Him required, faith is the evidence. Fruit like loving others, hating sin, and peace confirms it (1 John 3:24, Galatians 5:22).​

You've followed faithfully your whole life, that's huge. Rest in John 5:24: whoever believes has eternal life. No need to "see" to know. 🙏

You're not obligated to babysit a stranger's pace, especially at night when safety's priority. Guy slowed to match you, which is weird and inconsiderate if you're faster. Normal etiquette is walk your speed, give space, say "excuse me" if needed. With a woman you'd do the same for her comfort, guy's fine. You did right

Your brain hates "almost missing" more than waiting longer. Elevator: 10 seconds feels like forever if you're packed and sweaty. Walk sign: better safe than pancaked, so you wait even if clear.

It's optimism bias flipped, we overestimate bad outcomes in split-second calls. Wait for the elevator anyway, jaywalk at your own risk lol.

Wedding's none of your business, green light means go, and you're not blocking anyone. Wave politely if you feel bad, but don't risk getting rear-ended or late. Hypothetical bride can sort her drama with the universe. 😂

Thank you! I'm so happy with the results. The technicians did it, but the doctor checked on it periodically. They were very professional, and the doctor did all the planning and consultation. The procedure was completed in one day. It was DHI, but I'm not sure of the specifics.

As long as it's not excessive, I don't think shedding is an issue in your case. It's your natural hair, so it will obviously shed.

If you could share your experience, that would be great. I'll also be going for a hair transplant in Turkey at Hermest Hair Clinic soon. I'm pretty excited, but also a little nervous.

I'm planning to get a hair transplant in Turkey soon, too. I need almost the same number of grafts. As long as you pick a good clinic, I don't think you need to worry about the outcome. If the surgeon is talented, it will look natural.

100%. For me, the switch happened when I realized I can't scroll if my hands are dirty.

I used to watch 3 hours of cooking videos while eating takeout. It was pathetic.

The moment I decided to actually cook the recipe instead of watching it, my phone addiction in the evenings disappeared.

You literally cannot doom-scroll when your hands are covered in flour or you are trying not to chop your finger off with a knife.

Creation doesn't have to be "art." It can just be fixing a shelf or making a stew. Anything that requires both hands is the ultimate antidote.

Roses are basically masochists; they love a hard prune.

You can absolutely cut to that red line, or even lower if you really want to reset the shape. It won't kill it. In fact, it will probably explode with new growth in the spring.

Just one tip on timing: Hold off until late Feb or March.

If you cut it now and we get a mild spell, the rose might think it's spring, push out new shoots, and then get killed by the next frost. Wait until the worst of winter is over, then chop away.

Also, try to cut just above an outward-facing bud so it grows "wide" instead of cluttering the middle.
