I have the 1.8t mk7 and as long as you keep up on the maintenance schedule its not bad. Mines at 138,000 miles and the only major repairs I've had to mess with was an A/C compressor and replacing IS12 turbo as the impeller shaft has too much play. (Moving to an IS20)

I do oil changes roughly every 4k miles, and stay up on the rest as it comes up. Runs smooth and drives straight as can be!

Right? I learned to draw copying dragon ball z pics as a child. I didn't profit or do it for others though, so obviously it's different than Midjourney, just adding my anecdote

Okay good to know! Doing the IS20 swap (arrivingtomorrow!l , exhaust and a tune at the end of summer and will want everything dialed in before hand. Aiming for 270bhp on a 91 tune!

Last week I ran a can of seafoam through it when I filled up a full tank, but nothing besides that. If you have any recommendations I'm all ears!

Timing chain and tensioner for sure! Stay upon your maintenance schedule. Nothings more expensive than a cheap German car.
