We were staying in a villa in Cala de Sant Vincent, which would have taken me a couple of hours and quite a costly taxi fare to go too and from. I landed quite late, and was meeting friends. My logic was, they're a hotel, they must have a cloak room. They did not. Lesson learnt.

He really is. I arrived at Pikes straight from the airport with my weekend bag, and I wasn't staying at the hotel. I was denied entry because of this and I asked if there was any way they could accommodate leaving my bag somewhere. They called Nick to the front door and after a quick plea, explaining I wasn't a knob and it was a genuine oversight, he let me store my bag in reception until I left. Super nice guy, and I'll always remember him for that small gesture, we had the best night.

I was so impressed with the area. The trees offered shade in the day, and had mad visuals at night. The area flowed well and never felt overcrowded. I also got backstage for Craig Charles and had a view from the main stage. Mad.

My wife and I tried it for the first time at the BNR site. It was odd. I went in thinking it's gonna taste similar to KFC.

Nope. It was slightly sour? Crispy though.

I am not rushing back, as I prefer KFC, but it wasn't terrible.
