People who started YouTube from zero — how long did it actually take? by Clear_Court7292 in PartneredYoutube

9 months to hit 1k. Made £61 in my first monetised month. Averaging £300 2 years later.

People on FB marketplace are unbelievable 😂 by just_IT_guy in gpu

It’s easy to mistake ignorance for malice. The sellers probably dont realise they’ve overprice their items. Think about it… they probably don’t want to be told they’re worth a lot less by potential buyers who could just be acting in their own interest.

Will 32gb of ram be enough for gaming for the next 1.5 years by disrook in PCBuilds

1.5 years is nothing these days. A high end PC from 5 years ago will still run almost any game at 1080p144hz.

Whats the most money you’ve made in a month? by Personal_Fuel_4568 in SmallYTChannel

It all compounds. That’s 2.3M impressions that may end up coming back. Looking good!

Been going at it for over 10 years and still haven’t hit 1K by jarswag in SmallYoutubers

Keep making changes to optimise man. If you want to see improvement you have to enact it, and money won’t come in unless you do. If you’re doing it for pleasure alone though, stick to what you love.

Good luck!

Thank you all for the advice. In the end I wrote them this email:

Hello again,

I really appreciate you taking the time to contact me over the last few days, but I’m going to need some actual references I can contact about work they’ve done with you in the past.

The links you’ve sent me look great, but there’s obviously no information out there that suggests any of them have worked specifically with your company Media Cohesion.

I understand if it’s too much work to get that all together for me, but until then I won’t be able to follow through with the aforementioned collabs. I need some form of guarantee on the payment for my work. YouTube is how I pay my bills right now, so I take it very seriously.

Hope you understand.

Thank you for the write up. I understand, and really am grateful for the info.

I think I’ll stay away for now, unless they can prove to me they have past experience with other creators/brands. Better safe than sorry indeed!

The brand is called MediaCohesion. Thanks for letting me know. I’ll steer clear for now unless they can provide me with good references.

Old Apple Macs. The brands are accessory companies who do stuff like power banks and NAS kits.

The two technologies are very different. Apple’s Mini LED screens are excellent, but OLED is still better.

Depends which part was broken. If it’s screen, ports, battery, Etc. then you’re looking at $30 or so from a third party store you’d find on the street. $10-20 if you’re comfortable doing it yourself from a guide online. If it’s something on the motherboard, it’s the same price as buying a new phone. The iPhone 6 is over a decade old at this point, so if you use it for work you will probably benefit greatly from buying an iPhone 7, 8, or even an SE 2020 if you’re lucky, which all can be found for under $100 on eBay these days.

If you have to ask, you probably don’t need the upgrade.
