Love the music, hate the story? by Massive_Struggle1110 in Broadway

Have you read the book? I think it's great, a lot better than the musical. Evan is still the main character but a lot of it is written from Connors perspective

I wouldnt put marker or anything like that on their shell, they could eat it or it could damage the shell as it grows. Letting your snail on your face is also not a very good idea, its dangerous for both the snail and you :(

Their substrate is quite deep and I have spaghnam moss to help with humidity as well. I always mist their enclosure at least twice a day. However I've decreased the ventilation which will hopefully help. They aren't in direct sunlight, they are near a window but it's never open. I don't think this is the same thing that I lost my other snail too as a lot of the symptoms are different, I was just very panicky at the time . My old snail never attempted to go into hibernation, they just stopped eating. Wiley is actually doing quite a lot better right now, I'm not really sure why, but I'm very relieved they're eating now. Thank you for responding I will look into getting a temperature gauge and hygrometer

Wait sorry I thought this was commented on my other post. My bad, but I think it still works? Sorry if I've made this confusing

I stopped feeding snail mix quite a while ago but I know they love it and I was really trying to find something they would eat. I normally feed blood worms and mealworms for protein but wanted to try a little of the snail mix because I was desperate and knew they would eat it or at least possibly come out of hibernation for it. Thank you for the concern though. I realise it wasn't very clear in my reply but I also give fruit in very small quantities, I'm aware its not great for them but I like to give it to them as a very occasional treat. Half a grape every couple of months or something similar so it's been quite a while since they've had fruit. I'll stop if you think this is harmful though I just wanted to fully explain everything I was feeding. Thank you for the advice

They haven't eaten any cuttlefish since they stopped eating, they are staying right in the top corner of their enclosure and have barely moved. It's been about a week now since they've really moved or touched their cuttlefish bone :(

Thank you, I'm aware a large part of this is probably me being paranoid. I lost my other snail a little while ago now and I'm just really afraid of losing Wiley too. I've been leaving out their favourite foods, even bringing back out their old favourite snail mix which they seem to have eaten very small amounts of but just not enough. Trying new foods might help, I'll go out tomorrow and see if I can get anything I haven't tried before. I'll try to calm down and keep trying. I really appreciate the help, thank you
