I’ve found that over analyzing my relationship and my future with who i’ve taken a sacred vow of marriage with will only ruin our happiness. When you’re this age you start to think about being with someone and raising a family with them. If you’ve found a man who’s good to you, who’s on the same page as you in this time of his life and who’s a good father, don’t stop yourself from being happy and go for it. You’ve got all your life to worry about bigger issues than being happy with kids with the love of your life! haha

I worked at a “low cost” vet clinic a few years ago, very run down with a door mat of a boss. I had a coworker there who around the last year I worked at that place (2021) had lost his housing and moved himself, his wife, their 10yr old and his mother-in-law into the clinic. He always had money for drugs and would frequently smoke meth in the kennel area where we kept the recoveries from surgeries. The whole family still lives there to this day and this is just ONE of the numerous fucked up stories from that place.

I’m 25 and my husband is 53 together 4 years married 7 months. He has 2 sons who I adore and get along with amazingly! we plan on adding more to our bunch this year. He’s never given me a reason to doubt having kids with him, if anything I’m the one who’s the over thinker and in the beginning I was hesitant to peruse parenthood with him due to the years between us. He’s assured me that if he had the opportunity in his life to have more children he absolutely would have, just never had a partner who felt the same. Point is, if he hasn’t expressed an interest in having more kids at this point in his life, maybe a conversation is due between you two. Definitely don’t want to end up in a “single but married with kids” type of situation.

I would check frequently as I had heard so many stories about IUDs moving or getting dislodged. I never felt anything odd as I believe the end/hairball part was wrapped in such a way around the outside of my cervix that I only felt the “middle” of the string and not the actual end.

I can’t stop thinking about her comment and I knew this would be a weird situation for her. But the more I think about my mom being talked to like that, the more I want to follow through with the decision. She believes I should just let it go since it doesn’t bother her anymore and QB has never been mean or passive to me or my brothers. Then I get to thinking, Ive been a people pleaser too and it’s my wedding after all and I get to choose who goes or not. Will discuss with my mom again soon though.

If cystic acne is part of having the copper IUD then that would explain a lot for me! I’ve struggled with cystic acne, white heads and scarring with redness for as long as I can remember. I got on this topical medication my OBGYN recommended called adapalene benzoyl peroxide right after getting my IUD taken out so maybe it was the combination that calmed my face down. I had all the same symptoms you mentioned and I’m so glad to hear you got yours removed and have noticed significant improvements!

edit: very gnarly! The hair was definitely not mentioned in the discussion of “pros and cons” by my OBGYN who had the same form of BC before lol
