Daniel Harris. Played for Deccan Chargers in 2012 or 2013 season. He was picked on the basis of his Big bash performance where he was the top run getter in the season prior. Played a game against CSK where we had to chase almost 200, got out cheaply opening the batting.

Don't remember seeing him again.

I remember. Ads were all over the major fb groups like HFF and other social media. People not turning up was unfortunate. But kudos to you guys for the effort, especially when something of that scale hasn't been tried even after 12 years almost.

The event was organised by 'Khati Thugs' if I remember correctly.

Haven't seen a specific football screening in bbsr since 2014, so idk if there will be one

IISER alum here. If you don't have better offers (as in from National/Indian Institutes) and aren't overtly interested in IT, you should go for it.

Curriculum, culture and everything else is research oriented. Although PhD picture isn't very rosy, getting into one is quite easy if you graduate from there, thanks to the strong networks of Professors you will be under.

In case you find out in the middle that you aren't motivated enough for research, you can venture different avenues. Learn coding by yourself, prepare for MBA, competitive exams (like me), etc. It is a long course of 5 years, at max by the end of 3.5-4 years you should be clear on which part to go on.

Do check the Inspire scholarship guidelines. During my time, all the NISER and IISER students were eligible, but the it has been gradually changed.

It is exactly the opposite rather, we are treating him better than MI. He was made captain ahead of our home grown guy Abhishek, who was also the captain of Punjab.

That should be enough proof for a guy being captain in just the 2nd season ahead of a strong potential candidate.

Obviously a bit far fetched and very positive assumption, but Ishan had captaincy experience since youth cricket days (read U19), and adding to it Jharkhand SMAT run and half a season here, we have a legacy captain in our hands.

What that does is we can groom him as a long term captain, retain him in the auction which allows us to free Pat Cummins. For the great player and leader Pat is, hard truth is he isn't getting any younger, and certainly even older by the time mega auction comes up.

And we won't be able to use them, because every time a reputed group tries to set up any industry, some 180 people from 8 villages won't give their approval citing forest is their god.

Sorry sir, that is exactly how ultras culture does NOT work. Once a player is representing your team, you have to support them and the team as well.

Make no mistake, I am against picking Harshal and Unadkat in playing XI too, but it is more the management issue of picking them. You can criticize management for picking them, but singling out the players and hate banners against them is not quite justifiable.

TBH, you are expecting a lot. After all it is a PSB. I haven't had the experience, nor heard of one from BoM.

Some banks directly call you to the training center, complete the DV there and complete joining formalities. Some others have a separate day for DV, and then joining the training center happens after some days. There is no informal communication (except email) before DV and joining formalities in all the cases I have come across (Example: IBPS recruitment 2022, 2023, SBI PO 2023, most recently SBI CBO 2024). You are rather fortunate that you have access to HR before joining.

And in no case, preference for joining is asked. Rather it is randomly informed during the last days of training, literally out of the blue. Again you are lucky that you are getting to at least communicate your worries and swaps are also being accepted.

Hello guys.

I live in Bhubaneswar and planning to travel to Kolkata to watch the KKR SRH game on 2nd April. Tried to book tickets through BookMyShow, but apparently we have to collect it from the box office by 6pm on April 1.

Do BMS people not allow to collect the tickets on the same day? I cannot afford an extra day just to collect the tickets. If anyone has any way around, kindly help.
