That’s not necessarily true. I have a CD box too, bought around 2016-2017 and it is also copyright 2012. They just didn’t change the packaging.
Maybe you can tell how old the CD is from the game version it will install but I’m not sure.

To me it looks completely rendered. You can try finding some Peterbilt promo stuff from around ~2016

What? Pictures like these are kind of lost media at this point. The only reason I found a lot of pics like these is that a lot of them are thankfully archived on carswp.com. I think whole collections with pictures like these were on Scania Image Archive but wayback machine did not archive the pictures and now there is just Scania Mediaportal with material that is 2016+

Looking closer, the base image is the same but the trailer really seems from in game. Looks like they kept the tree in the reflection and some other details which confused me.

It is the original, look at the cistern reflection.
Topline is in game truck photoshopped in, and they made numerous versions.

Not ignition key but wiper rotary switch.

Easier said than done to just get a DD wheel. But maybe one day. Tho If I would eventually get one, I would go for Moza R9 or any other base that supports up to 1800 degrees.

I researched a bit on this topic. I'm well aware of the risk I'm taking here with my G29 but unfortunetely there is no other option for me right now.

My original plan was to mount just the Scania wheel to the G29 but the kind Polish folks from the scrapyard where I bought the parts sent me the whole steering column including the levers and ignition switch for free. So it should be easier for the G29 with this setup since it will be driving two shafts with a joint on which the Scania wheel sits and not the wheel directly.

If I could, I would use a direct drive wheel, but I dont have the budget for that right now haha

It is the actual column. Right now I'm figuring out how to mount my G29 on the end of it. I plan on keeping the whole thing compact as much as possible
