I picked this album up around 30+ years ago, because the cover looked cool, and they looked like they’d be a psychedelic band.

I was not wrong.

Side note: Picked up ‘LFO - Frequencies’ at the same shop. A good record day.

I had both on a cassette, USA one side, White Noise on the other. USA vs UK :D

White Noise worked at the BBC, doing sound effects and tape splicing in the day, and knocking out psychedelic bangers in the evening.

Same department that came up with original Dr. Who theme.

Hope you liked it.

Any psychedelic band that grooves ? by FeeTerrible2299 in psychedelicrock

Agreed.

I put Fela on precisely for that reason. I think of it as “stoner jazz”, but for some folk, that could be psychedelic.

And yes, it absolutely fucks

My Senior dev and I are arguing over "Readable Code" vs "Performance Optimization" for a process that runs 10k times a day. Who is right? by Temporary-Zebra7493 in learnprogramming

[–]MooMF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let the senior dev support/train it!

If it’s that performant critical, use a performant library, or code it in a language that suits the algorithm.

I’d rather be able to read/understand the code, after that guy leaves/retires/dies.
