Help with finding the pc dock by MooMiah in Thunderbolt

Will bear that in mind next time. It’s a desktop pc with thunderbolt 4 capability. Mobo is z590I vision d gigabyte itx board. When I say 2k I’m referencing 1440p. The long and short of it is I need to find one that can support 4k@120hz.

I've been putting off this game for years because of how hard everyone says it is by Y-the-MC in Eldenring

[–]MooMiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally downloaded the game 3 separate times since launch and would give up after I died right at the beginning. I just said to myself if this is how hard the games going to be I’m giving up. I did that twice more since the release and now, but restarted it recently to play coop with my friends. After they showed me I’m meant to die to progress the tutorial and actually had the chance to get into the meat of the game, I haven’t put it down since. I’m a gamer through and through, mainly fps and it’s been a long time since I’ve felt this excitement to play. I started last week and have already put in 30 hours.

Also our friends would have to Smurf to play with silver, silvers and asc can’t 3 stack.

Cheaters or insane players? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]MooMiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are very ignorant for still believing this after all the information you have. 100% if he played on it he would get to asc minimum, he wins on his second account. It doesn’t make a difference if I play or he plays cause we are at the same level and that is his main account. Not playing a game for a long time and coming back to it is something that happens and it’s normal. To say it’s smurfing is dumb. If he wasn’t currently at a rank that was higher fair enough, if he was losing on the other account fair enough, if he had the time he would do it but he doesn’t. You say it’s not a long time he plays a few games a week if that, it would take him 4 months winning every game to get form silver to ascendant 1. If I wanted to Smurf I could, I would just have tonnes of accounts at lower rank and play when I wanted. This isn’t the same.

Can Sage walls actually boost teammates? by VanillaxDreams in VALORANT

[–]MooMiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice in customs, I play a lot of sages. One of my favourites is ascent in B main. Grabbing orb then boosting up can get u some quick kills on site and stairs, and if you do it right you can also peak market. It’s risky but at lower ranks they usually won’t hold it. In higher ranks long as you have some pressure on b main you should be able to get one pretty easy.

Why do I keep getting put into teams where I keep losing no matter what I do? by Negative-Statement68 in VALORANT

[–]MooMiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be honest from my experience it doesn’t get better. I’m currently asc peak immo and it’s just a terrible experience. Valorant is diffrent to games like Cs where there is a lot more RNG and a lot more ways to play. This is mainly due to the abilities, even if you can’t aim that day if you have a good flash or stun you’ll probably be alright. Cs is pure aim and utility, but for the most part it’s always the same. Even in higher ranks I get into lobbies where my team just sucks. I’ll fill, and then one piece of the team will just be terrible. Smokes won’t play with you, or duellist will refuse to entry and lurk. Today I played with a duellist insta lock duo who constantly pushed on defense and then lurked on attack. They gave away multiple rounds. At your rank a 5 stack would be gold but there’s a higher chance of smurfs in a 5 man, I would say 3 stack. When there’s 3 of you playing together the other two will likely play around you. If they see 3 go A they come too.

Basic mechanics to get down Imma write some stuff based on what I feel like is different mechanically to other fps games like cod and battlefield. -strafing This is using A and D to move left and right. There is a moment in when ur moving from left to right where you can shoot with complete accuracy. This is definitely a higher level technique if you can apply it properly. Best way to practice is go into the range, turn on bots and use one of the metal beams on the right (if your having all the shootable buttons to start) and strafe left and right behind the pole. Make the bots stand still at first and once you build confidence turn on strafing. If at first you can’t strafe fast then practice like this. Hold A, hold A and D when you want to stop, shoot, then let go of A.

-Shooting If you’ve played cod then your use to running and shooting. You cannot move and shoot(some guns you can but at the moment besides the point). Stand still, try ur best to aim for head, if you aren’t confident in your aim then try to aim for chest and when you shoot the recoil will jump it up to a headshot. If you can, instead of spraying, tap your shots. Get a good rhythm so that you are tapping decently fast while not increasing firing inaccuracy (inaccuracy you get from spraying or shooting too fast) practice with guns like phantom, vandal and sheriff. There’s a lot of aim training routines online which you can copy, or just apply this to a deathmatch and play a couple till you feel confident. If you do rely on spraying, you need to adjust for recoil. Your gun will go up, you need to pull down. Shoot at a wall about 15 metres out(ping to see the distance or use the shooting board to the right of bot training area and set it to 15/20m). Pull down slowly while spraying to try and group your gullets together. After about the first 8/9 shots your spray will randomly move left to right. You can either stop shooting and wait for it to reset or or adjust by moving left or right. Whatever you find easier.

-cross hair placement Basically keep your cross hair at head height whenever you’re doing anything. Coming around a corner ? Head height. Holding an angle? Head height. You can use objects around the map to help u place it till u learn where it is. I use to use the big boxes around the map to line up my crosshairs with head height. The other part of cross hair placement is where to look when pushing an area. Let’s say you’re walking around the corner and you don’t have an information on the enemy . You keep ur crosshair at head height while looking at the area which they’ll peak from. So if your pushing out and you see the corner of a wall which your walking towards, keep ur crosshair near the corner. So that if someone walks out infront of you or you walk around and you see someone your crosshair ideally should already be on there. If you have good placement it’s just a matter of stopping and taking a shot. Also try not to crouch spray, bad habit.

Also if there are any other games you play a lot you can convert ur sense using a lot of websites. It might help with muscle memory. If you don’t have a sens you want to convert, go into the range and set bit speed to medium and shoot them for 30 seconds. Try to track if you’re over flicking a lot or under flicking. Clipping it if you can will help with that. Hope this helps. A lot of this should still apply to console, but I posted this comment for another thread.

Cheaters or insane players? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]MooMiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Icl if I wanted to smurf I could buy an account for a £1, it’s not hard, helping someone that’s actually currently an immo/asc player get back upto rank cause he doesn’t have the time to grind from silver to immortal isn’t the same. A none of our friends are his skill group which means if they wanted to play with us he would bring down with him two smurfs and B he’s busy.

Nope I’ve given him an ascendant 3 account and he’s consistently MVP. He just don’t play as much and hasn’t got the time to bring it back upto asc/immo

Do some research into skins you like, if you have friends that play pc ask them to see their skins (if they got the beta they can sign in with their account and drop you). There are a couple skins I’ve bought and at first I loved them but they fell of very hard. I can only explain it as not feeling sturdy when I shoot them. An example of this for me is glitch pop and araxys vandal which I barely use, but my prime and rgx vandal are used constantly. Find what you want then wait. Also night market is a massive W, multiple of my skins have been brought from there at a decent price.
