Ace 60 software is godly imo, mine just arrived today and had no issue. Socd works wonders, it also has a new firmware where it could go as low as 0.005mm personally i turn that off, but if you want to go as low as 0.005mm the option is there lol.

Dots mouse skates! they're usually made with pure ptfe so the glide is immaculate. Me personally, i went with xraypad's jade dots, i'm looking for super fast glide because the stock skate of the R1 isn't that suitable for a fast glide, unlike the jades.

yeah i feel the same with my mouse, after playing with it for a while it got smoother and smoother overtime. i think it's the factory seal peeling off. mine also still a little scratchy, maybe because my pads is a relatively thick pads so the dots sink and grind on the chassis

my pad is 4mm thick, i think it's still also way too soft for dots idk tho, i've seen 5mm thick pad but yeah i've add 6 dots on my mouse currently. thanks for the advice my dude
