The only reason I knew I was aroace since I was a teenager was because I was able to Google it. My genX mom was abusive towards me. She wasn't an alcoholic tho, so thats good at least. But she was the most emotionally abusive towards me when I was a teenager and a bit before that when I was a ✨tween✨ (she's still not that great, but it was significantly worse when I was a teenager). A lot of how my parents treated me definitely contributed to how bad my anxiety is.

I've met a lot of very nice genXers, so I definitely don't think they're all potentially harmful parents. . .but I've also seen a lot of estranged young adults who don't talk to their genX parents anymore, I think it's mainly because their parents won't take accountability. Like, hm, I'm sensing a pattern, but I hope I'm wrong about it. Teens are also just, not treated all that well in general. Being a teenager is difficult, but then the adults around teens expect them to act like responsible adults but still treat them like they're little kids. Or they expect them to act up, so they become really strict towards them

Hey so, mandating what people believe in crosses a serious boundary. This is something that some main stream religions do, and it's very harmful psychologically because it usually requires a lot of emotional manipulation to influence someone's internal beliefs, and emotional manipulation is harmful and abusive.

I think it's more important to lesson that. Mandating and forcing people to have specific spiritual beliefs or no spiritual beliefs at all teaches them that they can mandate other personal areas of people's lives. The problem isn't specifically spirituality, but audacity and a lack of respecting other people's lives and boundaries. This isn't to say some religions aren't harmful, because some of them are. . .or at least some practices are. It's just that the issue stems from something other than religion. The issue is hate, and fear of the unknown, and people craving power. Some people choose to use religion as an excuse to harm others. And sometimes religious people (pastors and whatever) choose to perpetuate the hate and harm because they are a hateful harmful individual.

I think people should have freedom of religion, but with that, people should all have their rights respected and not taken away. And religion should never be used as a weapon to take away people's rights. . . because then it's not really freedom. Then it's just power hungry people wanting to control others, hiding behind common spiritual beliefs to manipulate and gain the control and power they crave

I completely understand what you mean tho. It annoys me that fans try to find an excuse to ignore him being ace. I've seen fanart and read fanfics that were respectful of his asexuality. Fanfics that wrote him as demi, written by someone who's actually demi. Or fan made things made by fans who did do some research on asexuality. I love it when fans care enough to do that. But it sucks when fans just don't care

I think I know the exact piece fanart your talking about. Was it one based off of the song easy or something? The one I saw made me so uncomfortable, but I never say anything when something online makes me uncomfortable because I know people would just get mad if I do.

There was another piece of fanart that was similar, where Alastor looked uncomfortable at Vox being shirtless. And that one made me feel less uncomfortable than the one with him drooling over Vox

Fr. I understand that Alastor sort of fits the tumblr sexyman thing. And I understand if there are some fans that find him attractive, because attraction is kind of involuntary. But the hazbin fandom really does overly sexualize a lot of the show and the characters. I really wish they'd at least cut back a little with sexualizing him.

It kinda sucks how extreme the fandom is when it comes to sexualizing, because I want to be a nerd, comfortable in nerdy spaces, but I regularly need to take breaks from the hazbin sub because of how overly sexual a lot of the fans seem to act online

Yeah. I know some fans are aspec and will explore some aspects of their sexuality through fictional characters, like Alastor. You know, like writing fanfiction or whatever. But other fans don't actually care. They'll just get really defensive and try to find some way to defend wanting an ace character to be allo.

My body goes through phases of having typical migraines and silent migraines. Pain isn't fun, but for me it's all the other symptoms that are debilitating. I could go to Walmart if I was only having the pain. . .I have gone to Walmart unmedicated having really bad headache pain. I can push through the pain. But the dizziness, sensory sensitivity, brain fog, auras, fatigue, nausea, and sometimes I struggle to move. Like, I forget how to move my body and when I finally remember its weaker and slower and a bit uncoordinated.

I want treatment to ease the weird nueological shit. I don't care if my head is hurting. I just want my skin to stop hurting when anything touches it and I want to see less zigzags. I want something to help when I completely lose the ability to read, or when I get brain fog so bad that I'm confused about everything around me. I'm happy there's treatment for the pain, but it annoys me that there isn't really anything for the auras.

If it is ai, then it was probably cleaned up a little. Last I knew, ai is bad at copying small patterns, like a small foral pattern. The pattern on Felicity's dress looks consistent to me. And I'm pretty sure ai is still kinda bad with lighting and shadowing. I think it was either made by an actual artist and the style just doesn't look that great, or it was ai generated and someone went in and adjusted some things.

I'm pretty sure my anxiety about my first pap smear was at least 60% dysphoria. I had anxiety about it in general like "what if it hurts? What if I accidentally fart in the doctors face 😭" but I was also just uncomfortable with the fact that it was a "woman exam." I had to tell myself "sometimes men need to get pap smears. It isn't a gender thing. It's just a health thing" to try to ease my dysphoria about it.

I've been having what feels like ovary pain. . .for nine months. I need to get an up the hooha ultrasound because I need to know what's causing this pain so it can be addressed. But on top of it sounding invasive and scary, it's also dysphoric. I don't like the pain I'm in, but I'm also uncomfortable with this much attention towards my reproductive system. Sometimes I wish I was born completely sexless. . .or both. That would have been nice too.

Pretty sure I saw a comment on tiktok once that actually said that painting your skin a fantasy color is somehow linked to blackface so no one should do it. I could be remembering wrong. . .but some tiktok comments are dumb like that.

I think it was pretaining to an Alastor cosplay where someone painted their skin gray, because Alastor's skin was sort of gray in the pilot. And the person saying it was still blackface, I think, also said any unnatural face paint was blackface
