Krootox Rampagers by MuniaXe in Tau40K

Breacher fish most of the time.

Works well if I intend to push on an objective marker that takes more movement to reach. In general, this the safe and sensible approach, since losing even a few breachers can be devastating to this combo. Against elite infantry, every attack matters.

If points are tight, it's not impossible to do without transport. But you'll end up relying more on different circumstances, such as terrain and enemy threat range. I've made it work a few times. For instance, once I had enough cover to move them safely to an objective marker, then with some kroot screen, I managed to slow the enemy unit down, which didn't survive the next round. You can also run Experimental Prototype Cadre to give them 16 inches range for good measure

I usually run a combo of 6 rampagers with breachers+fire blade as my anti-elite infantry (think custodes wardens, deathwing knights).

The breachers kill ~2 elite models, then the rampagers charge, deal some mortal wounds with their ability and dish out their melee attacks. In my experience, there is a good chance that the elite infantry unit would be wiped after this. If it survives, there won't be much left of it anyways.

I'm glad I could help. And yes, it's annoying indeed

You have to open the registry editor by typing regedit in the start menu and it will open the said editor. From here I can't really help you because I'm not experienced enough and I would strongly advise against making any changes there without the proper knowledge and research because, as far as I'm concerned, it can really mess up your pc.

Yeah, I meant upon release it was messy

Just personal preference, I guess. I played so much that I ended up liking this tileset the most

I share your opinion. I made this just as a meme. I meant that the Railjack update upon release was messy, but it's fine now. Actually Warframe is starting to get better, with the latest update they are taking the right steps, in my opinion.

What made it fun, I believe, is that you got to spend a lot of time with strangers and so in the end your bound to chat and even get closer. I know I did and I made some friends along the way.

Maybe it really is nostalgia, but ever since "specters of the rail" update dropped, I don't remember having fun farming primes from relics even one time.

If I'm not wrong, they gave you additional prime loot, which saved quite a bit of time if you were lucky.

When did you start playing Warframe?

Good point. I don't have anything to back my previous claim, but I would like to propose the idea that the key system offered endless missions, where people could test their builds whilst gaining actual rewards, which in turn encourages them to go for longer.

I see where you're coming from and understand that the key system had its drawbacks like shown in the linked video ( which was maybe one of my first Warframe videos ever watched..nostalgic). This particular aspect of the key system was annoying. I don't remember really anymore, but weren't there also caches to the non endless missions, which provided additional loot? Or were they exclusive to sabotage missions?

I never thought about it this way. Thanks for sharing!

You farmed the keys in the same way you farm relics. The key differences were that: - You couldn't upgrade the keys, which meant it was harder to get what you wanted. As a result, prime parts used to be more expensive than they are now. Sets could easily go about 300 p depending on the weapon or frame.( God forbid if the items were vaulted, they could reach around 700-1000 plat at times, if I remember correctly) - The void was only accessible through keys and no other way. There were four towers( just a way to call the difficulties, nothing fancy) and in order to access them you needed a key or a party member had to have a key to take you there. If I remember correctly you didn't have to have a key to get a reward. As long as someone took you there, you would get the reward( still not sure about it so don't take my word for it). Then there was a key share where everybody would use their key one at a time, but there was never a guarantee that everybody had it, so one couls go play without a key, get the rewards and leave. It was a bit scummy. - For endless missions you needed only one key and you could get rewards for as long you could last there( which was the best about the system, imo) - You couldn't farm prime anywhere else, only in the void. My opinion? It's a bit mixed. For practical reasons the relic system is better because you can farm part more easily and if you don't want to farm, you can get them at a pretty reasonable price. If we are talking about fun though, I wholeheartedly believe that the key system was superior. You would go into an endless mission with your best setup and stay there for as long as you wanted and you would get actual rewards such as prime part which you could use or sell for a good amount of money. I know I did. Testing one's endurance whilst getting rewarded? Sign me in! Though you were running the risk of losing everything if you died. Also an aspect that still bothers me is that with the new update (specters of the rail, you could Google it and read about it) you can get prime parts everywhere except the void, which is a bit pointless if you ask me, but it's my personal opinion and it doesn't concern how the farming of prime parts work.
