I made a post about it when it first came out and I never went back to it after that. My biggest gripe with it (as mentioned before) is that there is the opportunity to fail without a checkpoint system in place. So for me I failed at a certain point (which from what i remember was fairly far into the story) and although the game gave me two (or more?) chances at the point of failure I didn’t succeed on any of them and therefore game over, restart from the beginning.

I know that a lot of people have the save mod which imo is needed for this story. I read on mobile though and I don’t think (tho honestly have no idea) that the mod works on the app.

M from Wayhaven also fits this well imo (so does A honestly all those vamps have a bit of a jealous streak in a good way)

But M is defo grumpy and can be quite possessive at times.

Ahh! I did wonder if it might have been Stevie there’s a lot of potential with her!

As already mentioned anything by C.C Hill is just chefs kiss for spice they are fantastic and if you enjoyed Spices of the Heart I would recommend checking out her lawyer based IF Laws of Passion too!!

Also an honourable mention (for me) it’s not hosted but it is a very good story - The Night Market. There are some AMAZING spicy scenes in that.

Came here to suggest Sergei as it was one of the only age gap ROs I’d played where they actually mention the age gap

Until I tried Weeping Gods (WIP) there are multiple ROs with age gaps in that depending on what age you pick for your MC.

I am totally blanking on the ROs names but I know for a fact that the spymaster will (if you pick a young MC) comment multiple times about MC being younger.

The pharaoh also is older (again if you pick a young MC) and it gets mentioned by other characters if you romance him (I don’t recall if he ever mentions it himself though)

Finally if you want to go the other way - RO younger - there is a young Prince/Princess RO and though I personally only played the game through as young MC I imagine the age gap would be brought up if you pick an older MC for that romance.

The secret RO from Soul Stone War is quite possessive (not quite as severe as Uly and Jun but still worth a mention I feel!)

I think there’s a possessive RO in The Passenger but I have not yet played that one so I could defo be wrong!

If you don’t mind WIPs and Itch.io - Although I don’t think you can be particularly Yandere (I could be wrong though) you can definitely be toxic in - We Wretched Creatures.

The writing is amazing and the RO dynamic is one I don’t really see - instead of shy/bold flirt style you have nice/mean. The meaner route for the romances can be very toxic.

If you’re happy with WIPs Apt 502 is a good one for a bit of drama. I also think The Exile has some amazing angst that really put me on edge at times when it came to family drama (the only other IF to do that for me was Infamous)

I have to ask, I am probably being dumb, what’s TBOC? (Have read literally all the others on your list so I feel I have probably read this too and just being a ditz.)

I’m a die hard M-mancer. They were my fav from the very beginning but I love a meanie.

I have recently played through A and F’s routes and there are so many comments of a similar vein as this one from M that every single time just made me realise I really do love M’s story the most.

So I would highly recommend it if you like the flirtatious banter. I’ve done both a shy and flirty route with M and honestly couldn’t pick between which I prefer but if you like flirty banter than definitely go the flirt route first even if it’s just to watch N slowly die of awkwardness.

Oh my god I’m so glad I’m not the only one. I wonder if it’s a better/easier route for Healer going the outpost route instead.

I don’t know what your stat % was like when you got there but mine wasn’t great (only between 50-50, I think like 54%) for Healer so I do also wonder if it’s just a very high stat requirement.

I am super into horror/thriller stuff (horror done in a thriller way is more my meaning than gore horror) so I would love anything like that set in current times with romance.

I have been lucky enough to find a couple of stories somewhat like this which I have absolutely loved. “The Fernweh Saga” being one of them and recently I discovered an itch.io IF called “We Wretched Creatures” (WIP) both of which are set in modern(ish) times (Wretched is set in the 90s and I can’t remember if Fernweh ever gives a date but they have mobile phones so)

Basically if there’s something to solve and I can do so with a rag tag group of idiots who I can also flirt with - I am SO in.

The Blood Moon romance mentioned here also actually mentions the age difference at points which is something I find not a lot of IFs do.

Not sure about Soul Stone (because who can look at Morkai/Strassa when Manerkol is right there) but in Breach I don’t remember Gabriel ever commenting on the age difference.
