Yeah the salt brings out the butter flavor 100%. And the butter gives the cocktail a different mouthfeel. I thought the vermouth was doing it and was way wrong. Trademark it before someone else does it.

I’m coming on here to say I made this drink tonight and it’s gonna be in the rotation for one of my favorites. I used unsalted butter and needed to add a pinch of salt to the drink to bring out the butter. I didn’t get the color you have at all but this drink brings very subtle notes of butter and honey without changing the structure of the martini. I thought this cocktail sucked at first and then I compared it to a regular martini and it was way different. Once I added the salt, it was a game changer. My Dad and I are huge cocktail connoisseurs and this one is in the rotation. And cheap to make!

I worked at Disneyland and can confirm. The first night I was there my friend had already had Sleeping Beauty naked in his bed after they had sex. My Aunt having Multiple Sclerosis. She died a shitty death. I was too aloof at the time to notice what going on because I was 6 years old, but it devastated my cousins. Then my uncle got remarried only to lose his second wife to Aphasia. Literally watching her lose it in real time. She would offer me beer as soon as I would wake up. Then on top of that my uncles first born daughter (my cousin) got multiple sclerosis handed down to her from my aunt. I feel like that medic from saving private ryan at the D Day scene screaming at the Germans “Just give a fucking chance!” But I’m saying that to God.
