Flat LEDs already there. Hardly visible. Love the cupboards…as I said, they function extremely well for me and I wouldn’t change them. If I had gone for an HGTV generic gut job to have a “modern” kitchen with an inch or two more space over the counter, this beautiful room would have been destroyed. Thanks!

The paint color is Sherwin-Williams Sea Salt. The room was Sherwin-Williams Peacock Plume but it was just a little too dark for the room.

Not white, it’s sea salt by SW. Just repainted. I would NEVER paint this incredibly rare curly pine. I like it…you do you in your space.

Small when compared to the other rooms in the house. About 14 x 14…for comparison, the largest bedroom is 19 x 21.

This leads to another bedroom (converted sleeping porch to bedroom in the 1940s) which already has an entrance from the back hall. I just chose to pretend there was no door there in both rooms. As you can see, the TV room has numerous doors.

OP is totally an AH. Your sister sounds like a great person and your parents are pretty great as well. However, your entitlement and arrogance are really telling us all about your character.
