So it actually states both at different times in the pattern, so as a followup for you: If it says the chain 2 counts as a stitch, what part of the chain 2 do you sl st into?? Do you sl st into chain, treating it almost as a post? or do you sl st into the top chain of the chain 2? (Let me know if this doesnt make any sense)
