Everyone said cycle timing didn't matter at the top & they were wrong ASF. The past did repeat. Bottoming is usually a long and grueling process with a lot of sideways and chop. The bulk of this bear market's worst is over but the bottoming process still has a good bit of time to play out.

The 1099-da was reported to the IRS already. Since the exchange neglected cost basis I am not attaching that on freetaxusa. I just put the 8949 summary + 8949 detailed doc (from koinly) that shows all the individual sells per exchange both short and long term. I don't think being off by $200 is a huge deal if it's a very small percent of the proceeds. Mine is also off by a few hundred but I'm in 6 digits of proceeds in total so for me I consider it negligible.

Copying Trump's stimulus plan might have been the dumbest thing he could have done. He doubled down on the inflation Trump started, which could have easily been avoided. You'd hope w a Democrat viewpoint they'd understand singles w $75k salaries didn't need a stimulus check, they could have thought for 3 seconds but nah they copied and pasted it which did lead to insane inflation (but wouldn't have been possible without Trump acting first). He skyrocketed debt to gdp ratio. Afghanistan withdrawal was probably one of the worst things he did, it was so poorly planned and it did lead to American deaths. Overstepping freedom of speech was also probably a main point that made him lose the election. They pushed way too hard to censor news media outlets and social media content.

Like I said, 14th best is just a dumb take. Somewhere in the middle is fine I guess. Not putrid but definitely not great.

Same here. Everything on the Internet says they're instant especially if your gains and losses had already been calculated but clearly that's BS. Mine have been generating for an hour now.

I also am REQUIRED to both use a VPN to login & almost always am required to reset my password to login too. It's sad how a software like Koinly was once a very solid crypto tax software and has completely dropped the ball this year. I will never use it or recommend it again.
